This review is from someone who typically stays in quite nice hotels e.g The Padma and The Grant Hyatt etc when I go to Bali but my girlfriend and I were looking for something a little more cozy and relaxing with less noise and people this time so while I can't compare it to many other villas in Bali I can compare it to big resorts in terms of bang for your buck. My girlfriend and I stayed at Abia Villa in May from July 24th to July 31st 2025 and it was an absolute pleasure. Dwi picked us up from the airport and took us to the villa where we were greeted by the amazing staff who were wonderful throughout our whole stay, we had great chats to them every morning we left and every day we returned. The location is amazing and we were constantly blown away at how we couldn't hear anything at all in our villa despite being pretty close to a main road. It was an incredible way to disconnect. You can have your breakfast in the room or at the Abia Bar which serves up beautiful food and drinks. Over our week we had pizzas, Eggs Benedict, museli, the Abia BLTA, waffles, pancakes etc. Every day between about 2pm and 5pm you can choose to have afternoon tea with some little treats. They also have dinner deals like 2 for 1 pizzas, steak and wine deals etc. Bottled water is stocked up daily and the fridges are a decent size (fridge size is a pretty big issue for us for cold water storage). The fridges don't come stocked with a mini bar etc, we prefer it empty so we can buy what we want from the local stores. The staff also come to put down some mosquito coils and spray the room each afternoon to clear out any mosquitos or bugs etc that may have made it in if the doors have been open while you swim etc. We still recommend picking up a random mosquito repellant to put on if you're going to spend a lot of time by the pool at night. The rain head shower with separate spray nozzle was so refreshing after a long hot day exploring and there's a huge spa bath in each villa. The pools were beautiful. Some villas have dark tile pools, some have light tiles and we swam at all hours of the day and night as it was so beautifully peaceful and quiet. The bed was absolutely massive and comfortable. The thing that just stood out above all else and there's a lot of things to love about this place is the peace and tranquility and the staff. When we were chatting with staff about my girlfriend and I going to get tattoos, they changed our bed sheets for us so that if the ink leaked at all we wouldn't be charged and when we were asked if we'd be having breakfast on the morning of flying out and us responding no as it would be too early, the amazing staff surprised us by showing up to our airport pickup with pancakes and waffles with juice, cereal and fruit. Just absolutely above and beyond anything we would ever expect. I will definitely be staying here again.
