Really pleasant stay and really good for gluten free food

Visited the hotel with 2 adults and 3 children for the first time in August. The hotel was in a good central area near bars, restaurants, close walk to the beach too. Hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and worked non stop. One of our party needed a gluten free diet and having contacted the hotel prior to booking I was assured they could offer gluten free. They made my daughter gluten free ceral, pancakes, pizza, pasta, fries, to name a few, they advised what and what could be eaten from the buffet ,but also had the option to make it fresh in the kitchen. She is fussy but there were chicken dishes, pork, turkey, prawns, steak. They staff were very helpful and friendly , Joel and Angel from the restaurant remembered us and helped get my daughter gluten free from the kitchen as well as the 2 lady's with plaits in their hair so sorry I didn't get their names! The food was really nice and a good variety. They have ice cream in tubs all day, the snack bar always had food available. We always managed to find a sunbed, most days around the pool,there were staff removing towels and there were notices up saying this would happen. There is a entertainment pool which we sat around once, and they had an animation team. I preferred the other pool as did the children. There is also a small splash pad and pool for smaller children. They hotel grounds and gardens were all maintained. Rooms were really spacious and very clean, one day , fresh towels had been forgotten but after a call to reception, housekeeping brought them along for us. Overall we all enjoyed our stay here and would return.

2nd visit here

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it once again. The location of my room last year was perfect so I’d emailed the hotel earlier this year and asked if I could have a similar location. They said they would try but couldn’t guarantee it but upon checking in the room I was given was 2 doors down from the room last year so was very pleased. The food this year was still really nice but wasn’t as good as last year, felt there was a little less choice, however, I always found something to eat and was never left hungry. They were a lot stricter this year with towels on beds that were left unattended (before the pool opened), but I get this as last year people put towels out first thing but didn’t actual use the beds until the afternoon, which in my opinion is selfish! Room was cleaned every day. There were tiles missing in the pools last year and it was the same this year so I think they should focus on fixing this, and the broken tiles around the pool areas. I still think this is a great hotel and would probably return again, however I do like to try different places.

Fantastic for families

Fantastic hotel! Modern decor and always spotless clean. We stayed all inclusive and the food was excellent, always ple ty of choice in the buffet restaurant and the staff were quick to clear the dishes, and always polite with a smile. We had a family room which was nice, but geared towards those with younger children (ours were 14 and 12) - animals duvet and little play tent in room which just took up well needed space. One negative thing about the rooms is that the air con was not strong enough, so took ages to cool the room and our extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. Only had 2 teacups in the room despite we were a family if 4. Also, had a kettle but no tea/coffee/milk provided, only 1 bottle of water free. Any more water needed, we bought ourselves as well as milk and we took teabags from the restaurant. The 2 pool areas were lovely - and not allowed to reserve sunbeds (which i though was fab!), so pool staff would collect up the towels of those who would leave them on sunbeds 1st thing in the morning and not return until later, where they would find a note to reminding them of the policy and where to collect their towels. Plenty of areas to help yourself to drinks as well as the pool bars. We have to specially mention the animation (activ) team - they would come round the pool at 11am everyday, and brighten up your morning with a welcome song and dance. Then aqua fit, volleyball, beer pong, bingo, to name but a few day time activities. Then the evening entertainment was great - there would be visiting acts (Brazilian dancers, vocalists) and the animation team would put on their own shows - Grease was so much fun! So thank you to the animation team- Lily, Alberto, Javi, Vivi, Nico, Allejandro (both of them), and the rest of the team (sorry I can't remember your names). We have truly loved staying here, and would definitely consider coming back!

Definitely not 4 star! Waste of money.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I regret booking it for my whole family. I felt embarrassed that my parents, partner, sister, and her children had to spend money on such a poor stay. When we checked in, our rooms were spread out on opposite sides of the hotel, and no one at reception offered to help us find them and it’s such a large hotel it’s very confusing. The rooms themselves were uncomfortable and poorly maintained — They lacked basic amenities such as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. You even have to pay extra just to use the safe. The beds were just two twin mattresses pushed together on wheels, constantly sliding apart or squeaking with every movement. We even had a view of a bush on our balcony on the bottom floor which people used as a way to dry their tops around the park! The facilities were equally frustrating. Walking through the hallways, we found cockroaches on the floor (dead and alive), which was very off-putting. The hotel shop sells floats and balls, yet when we tried to use them in the pool, lifeguards immediately told us they weren’t allowed. Which so many people lost money doing as there is no clear signs around the pool. The pool itself was unsafe, with broken tiles that cut my sisters children and partner’s feet. On top of that, the pool bar staff were generally rude and unwelcoming, with the exception of Alismar and Desiree, who were friendly and efficient. As for the food, the selection was bland, repetitive, and uninspired across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It felt like the same options every day with little variety or flavor. Everyone is just walking in each others way, cutting in and lacked organisation to it. The only positive was the entertainment team, who put on enjoyable shows, although even the music became repetitive after a while. Overall, this hotel was a complete letdown. Between the poor service, unsafe facilities, lack of cleanliness, and low-quality food, I would not recommend it to anyone. Sadly, this was money wasted, and I will not be returning.
