Absolute Bliss Imerovigli Suites

I began my search of Greece Hotels in 2020, pre-Covid and landed on Palladium for Mykonos (see separate review) and Absolute Bliss for Santorini. Regrettably, our holiday was cancelled by Covid and rescheduled for 2025 with the addition of a week in Turkey, and 3+ weeks in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Paros (in that order). Absolute Bliss is an ABSOLUTE must!!! We were met at the port by transportation arranged by Sophia. A huge bonus and stress reliever coming off a Ferry and not at all familiar with the lay of the land. Arrival to AB was welcoming with a refreshing beverage of choice. Penny walked us to our suite and explained everything in detail, including restaurant recommendations. Our suite was #10 and included a hot tub on our outdoor veranda and a whirlpool in our suite. Breakfast is served on your veranda every morning at your choice of time and there are soooo many options to choose from. You place your order the night before and there are zero limitations. Breakfast was delivered hot at the time specified and it was outstanding. Omelettes were delish, croissants were definitely delivered each morning from a bakery and were so fresh and tasty. The chef took care in recognizing allergies and made necessary modifications where necessary. Yes, there a lot of steps at AB but your luggage is delivered promptly to your suite and you do not have to carry anything but yourself up the many stairs. This is the necessity of being on the Caldera with the best views and no Cruise Ship noise to interior your peace & quiet, The best part of AB (aside from the beautiful staff) is the privacy and the location. You realize as you walk the trail to Fira and Oia how lucky you are to be staying @AB. They have taking care in designing each unit so there is maximum privacy for every guest The location is directly on the Caldera where you will enjoy amazing sunsets right from your veranda. I highly recommend this amazing hotel and we will definitely choose AB when returning to Santorini.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff were the most accommodating and friendly we have ever had, they simply cannot do enough for you and nothing is any bother. We received a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite upon arrival which was totally unexpected and made our trip even more special. We were greeted with a free drink each whilst we waited for our room to be ready (we arrived early around 2pm but our room was still ready before the official 3pm check in time). We also received a free bottle of wine to our room at a time of our choice. The hotel is placed in Imerovigli which is between Fira and Oia so was the perfect location for us as it is a lovely 30-45 mins walk to Fira (depends how many photos you take of the stunning views en-route) and around a 2hr hike to Oia. We did this in trainers, I would not recommend doing this walk in sandles. The Fira walk is fine in any footwear. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it would not disappoint whatever your occasion.

Perfect location to have some peace and quiet. Simply gorgeous views and the breakfast in your room can't be beat! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. We walked to Skaros Rock and hiked to Oia. No hesitation with a recommendation!
