The hotel is located in the best part of Side, on a golden sandy beach, 62 km to Antalya Airport and only 1.5 km to Side, where you can visit many restaurants, bars, discos, shops and historical places. It is set in a lovely green garden covered with native trees and is only a 15-minute walk to Side. There is a promenade by the beach where guests can take nice walks or go jogging. There is also a taxi service and public shuttle bus stop close by. Guests can enjoy their restaurants open at the hotel. The main restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and will serve buffet-style meals, also offering three themed nights. There will be also 3 à la carte restaurants where you can taste different specialities of Italian & international cuisine and Mediterranean seafood enjoying a candlelit dinner. Nice hotel in a great position near to the beach and old town. Well designed and feels spacious. Chilled vibe ( not many ruzzians) . Good food and friendly efficient staff. Good gym. SPA facilities very good. I will go again.

Overall very good. Normally stay at Arum Barut Collection but it was closing for the season. Pre check in I made a couple of enquiries prior to arrival, responses were quite curt which is completely different to responses from Arum Barut in previous years. Hotel facilities were good, food and drink were superb. Room with side sea view was excellent but very noisy in the morning and late at night due to external noises (left side of hotel). Staff overall were hit and miss - excellent service and friendly manner from Tuba in the Panora 24 lounge (which has an excellent terrace) and Osman on the evening shift in the buffet restaurant and a waiter with glasses, on the day shift (sorry didn't get name ) all outstanding. There was a waiter on the day shift who was extremely rude so avoided his section of the main restaurant. The gym had some good equipment and the trainer was very helpful and provided great advice. Overall a very good hotel but it is just not as welcoming as Arum Barut Collection.

Far Below 5* standards - serious service and safety concerns

I stayed at the Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection recently and, unfortunately, the whole experience was far below what I expected from a 5-star hotel. We had booked a swim-up room because I asked specifically about sunlight for health reasons. Before arriving, I was told the room would get good sun, but when we got there it didn't at all. That was disappointing, but things got worse from there. On our first night, we found a cockroach in the room, which was quite a shock - especially in November when it's cooler. The way the staff responded was very dismissive, which made it more frustrating. The most worrying incident happened in one of the restaurants when a drinking glass suddenly came apart while my wife was using it. The base fell off and the drink and glass shards went all over her. The waiter didn't take it seriously at all. No one checked if she was hurt or offered any help. For a hotel of this level, that reaction was really unsettling. Service in general was poor throughout our stay. A lot of the restaurants seemed understaffed, and some staff members were quite abrupt. We kept being told that a manager would meet us to talk things through, but no manager ever showed up, and no one followed up properly. The hotel later offered spa treatments as a way of making up for everything, but even that was mishandled. We were told we could choose what we wanted, yet when we tried to book, we were pushed toward treatments we didn't ask for and felt pressured rather than looked after. Overall, the combination of safety issues, poor service, lack of communication, and the feeling that nobody in management wanted to take responsibility completely ruined the experience for us. This was supposed to be a relaxing break, but it turned into the opposite. I really cannot recommend this hotel based on what we experienced.
