Excellent place and hotel for a relaxing holiday

Adorno is a lovely hotel by the sea - right on the Ornos beach. We really liked the decor and the look and feel of the place. The main dining area and swimming pool were nice and well-maintained. Our room (sea view) was large and spacious and very comfortable. We also had a nice balcony overlooking the sea, but part of the view (of the sea) was limited by another property on the side. The breakfast was based on a limited set menu (which got a bit old when you spend a whole week there), but the food taste, quantity, and quality was great, and you could have as much or as many dishes off the menu as you liked. There was also an a la carte menu outside the breakfast times. As much as everything at the hotel was lovely, the best thing about Adorno is their staff. Ilyas and Constantinos at reception and Giorgos (and the other lovely guy whose name I forget, sorry) at the restaurant/bar were so friendly, helpful, generous, attentive, and all the other good things! It felt genuinely quite sad to say bye to them. We highly recommend Adorno, just for the wonderful service, if nothing else! My only feedback for improvement is that on some of the nights, one of the neighbouring beach restaurants/bars played party music quite loud and until quite late (4am on one night because of a wedding party). The bass was coming through quite strong. We had earplugs so were ok, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. Generally, the music levels were good (probably agreed by all the properties I assume). Not much Adorno could do about it, but I would advise you take earplugs if you have a sea view room! Thank you for taking such good care of us, Adorno. Efcharisto!

Might be better in the more expensive rooms

The staff and the property are really nice but our room was unfortunately really bad. It was next to a venting system so the whole room vibrates and is noisy all the time. The sliding door to the bathroom also didn’t close well and had a huge gap so there wasn’t much option for privacy. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of al a carte options. The pool area was a bit small for the number of guests since there isn’t really any beach space for the hotel. We did find it possible to swim in the sea and return easily enough to the hotel grounds though. Good location overall. The pool looked lovely but the water was freezing. Also be aware there are a lot of steps in the property that don’t have handrails (including leading into the pool). Overall I would recommend staying somewhere else, especially if you aren’t wanting to pay for one of the more expensive room options that they offer.

Best Hotel and Perfect Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Adorno Beach and Hotel Suites. We had the honeymoon suite with the pool. The room was incredibly spacious and clean, with luxurious decor and a comfortable bed, crisp linens and swank bathroom features. The breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options. I loved the fact that I never had a long wait even when they were busy. The staff were consistently attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. George was the reason we came back to this hotel. He treated us like royalty the very first time we met him and he hasn't changed. He is considered family along with Alice and Konstantinos our new family members. Hotels can have all the amenities with the latest and greatest equipment, furniture, etc. but without superb customer service and hospitality, it's just a building with nice stuff in it. We will always stay at Adorno because you can't put a price on perfection. Thank you, George, Alice and Konstantinos!!!! See you again soon.

Perfect family holiday at Adorno Beach Hotel and Suites

Such a wonderful hotel in Ornos, Mykonos. We had a suite with private pool which was stunning and perfect for our family. The service from everyone was exceptional and the breakfast choice was outstanding. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we hope to visit again next year.
