Great little aparthotel..staff such lovely people. Always so helpful. Lovely little pool area..Nice spacious room. Nice comfortable beds. Location excellent. A supermarket near,bars,beaches and loads of restaurants. I didn't expect such a pleasant stay. Would definitely go back and would definitely reccomend as a great place to use .

Nice Room and Stay

Very nice hotel. reception large and nicely decorated. Quick check-in then a lady showed us to a room on 2nd floor, showed us around and how to use the safe and air con. Apartment was large and clean. Comfy beds, kitchenette with kettle and toaster. Bathroom good size. Balcony was big with access from the bedroom and the lounge. We had a mountain view, overlooking some trees, glimpses of a few derelict buildings, but we could see the sea and part of kos harbour so we were pleased. We didn’t use the hotel pool as we like the beach, but there were always spare sunbeds there. Location was good. Nearby were 2 supermarkets and a few restaurants. In the other direction was the beach, about a 2 min walk. The beach was shingle but nice, we had water shoes which are needed. There are sun beds for hire along the front, we went to Pegasus, the nearest ones to the hotel, 10 euros for 2 beds and parasol, you get also 2 free bottles of water. The sunbeds were spaced quite far apart as well so you weren’t too close to others. Loads of places to eat and drink along the front. Lambi was lovely, pretty areas to see, the walk to kos harbour nice enough, but there are bikes everywhere along the sea front! Some parts of the walkways are also cycle paths so you have to keep dodging them. Didn’t see any bus routes or taxis, which would have been nice alternative to bike dodging. I will go back for longer and make sure we explore more of Kos as it is beautiful. We would stay at theThe Aegean Blu again.

A simple, easy hotel 3 mins walk to Lambi beach and 20 mins walk to the old town.

We loved this little hotel - simple hotel apartment complex where we had a big apartment style, simple and no-frills room that was in a clean hotel and with a 24 hour reception. The rooms aren't beautiful but they are easy, lots of space, with a mini kitchen and fridge and big balcony and great air-con and Wifi. Beds are comfy and it's very clean. Pillows are rather fat, but the beds are comfy. We actually had two single beds pushed next to each other to make a double/queen, which was not fantastic, but it was fine for the four nights we stayed there. It's a 3 minute walk down to Lambi beach and all the local beach clubs, which are 10 euros per day per bed. And it's an easy, flat 20 minute walk into the old town and you pass lots of shops and restaurants on your way if you want to stop off earlier. A really good location and easy, simple, local hotel with helpful staff who care and want to help. The pool is great, but it was a little crowded for us and the amazing Kos beaches are just down the road. Breakfast is very basic, and to be honest, not much there of any substance, but there's a supermarket up the road, 3 minutes walk and we got lots of goodies to eat on our balcony! TIP: Taxis are impossible to flag down, So.... if you need a taxi to the ferry etc book at least 24 hours ahead, which we did and which it arrived - phew! The staff helped us with booking that.
