What an amazing week spent at this charming hotel! The hotel is located within a short walk of Skiathos town and is a small complex with a limited number of rooms. The levels are split over a number of floors each with a gradual incline using steps. If you are less abled it may be wise to request a room on the lower levels, but you will miss the stunning views! We had a stunning suite with sea views which were to die for! The suite was huge, with ample living space in the front room which led to a stunning balcony with views over Skiathos Bay. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The air conditioning was fantastic with units throughout the suite and the usual mod-cons you expect. I have read reports about the pool area not being clean or is substandard. This is not the case. Occasionally there were small pieces of leaf from the trees around the pool that had blown in but I witnessed the pool being checked for chemical levels on numerous occasions and being cleaned daily. It was spotless. There were always sunbeds, with a lovely beach opposite. The food cooked by chef Isaac was outstanding. The menu is relatively small but it is cooked à la carte, fresh to order, with starters, salads, meat and fish the options with a desert menu. The breakfast is a buffet with also the option to order from the à la carte (hot breakfast items). No mass produced buffet rubbish here! The key to this hotel is the staff. From the moment we were greeted by Kostas, the general manager we were made to feel like family. Spyros who was front of house could not do enough for us, and Nino and Aggela who worked at the bar and restaurant who were always smiling, happy to help and have a chat with you. All of the staff were absolute gems, from the management to the maids. Transfers, excursions, taxis and vehicle hire etc can all be arranged by front of house. This is a small, quiet and charming little hotel that is perfect for a relaxing holiday where the guest comes first. Thank you to Kostas and the team for a lovely time!
