Most relaxing experience I have ever had!

I just had a back massage with Alexandra Ps, I have never had a massage in my life so I was quite nervous. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. She was kind, pleasant and ensured that I felt comfortable the whole time. I cannot recommend her enough, she is an absolute credit to the Spa Team here at AEOLOS Hotel. If I could give 100 stars, I would! :-)

Superb holiday filled with sun, food and fun.

We stayed at this amazing hotel for one week in August. We had a wonderful week of relaxing with great food. This hotel is in a stunning beach front location and as it’s based on a hill the views and sunrise are spectacular. The best part about this hotel are the staff, the service is impeccable, from the restaurants, pool bars, beach, maids and not forgetting the golf buggies drivers. Clearly a strong emphasis is placed on staff training and it shows. With a teenage daughter we did not visit the family pool, but we did very much enjoyed the Lagoon pool with its high location, where we were once again treated to outstanding views all day long. Also recommend spending time on the beach, very clean and we always found sun beds available whether it was morning or afternoon. With the hotel being on a hill there are lots of steps, but the golf buggies mean you can access all of the hotel with minimum effort.

Scrub, massage & body wrap with Spiridoula

- our second visit to this hotel, I booked a treatment in the hotel spa this time. The spa itself is small, I booked a session in the sauna (private) and then a full body scrub / wrap and a massage. Total treatment time was 110 minutes plus 20 minutes to sauna & shower. My therapist was Spiridoula, a lovely young lady that was very caring, continually asking if I was happy with the treatment. And I was, very good value and probably the best full body massage I have had. Would thoroughly recommend the spa treatments and will ask for Spiradoula again if I pay another visit. The hotel itself is fabulous. We were worried.it would be too busy in August, we visited in September last year - but the place still retains it's peaceful atmosphere even in the busiest month it seems.

Really brilliant holiday

We, have just had a week at Aeolos and had a really wonderful time. We are a family of 3 and we stayed in a Superior Sea View Bungalow which was very new, a really good size, beautifully cleaned every day and had amazing views. My son said that the sofa bed was the most comfortable he’s ever had, as were our beds. The AC was amazing and much needed! There is a fridge/kettle and tea/coffee supplies in the room. These were topped up daily as was a 1.5lt bottle of water. I had read on here that bottled water was scarce BUT I needn’t have worried about keeping hydrated as there are many places to refill your water bottles. The restaurant has two water dispensers and any of the lovely bar staff will also refill bottles. We took our own insulated bottles which worked really well and saved a lot of plastic waste. Our room was right at the top of the resort which was no problem for us, we enjoyed the walking it a few times each day to keep us active and totally worth it for the view - there is a brilliant buggy service for those who don’t want to or can’t walk up and around the resort. The buffet food options were the best we have had in an all inclusive resort. Loads I wanted to try every meal time and they were all really good. The only thing I would say is that they are not labelled for allergens as far as I could see. You can ask for gluten free bread at breakfast and there was a range of milks available. My son loved the pizza/pasta bar on the beach. The icecream counter is also a brilliant addition with really good ice cream and lots of choice (have found it can be cheap rubbish in other resorts). We used both our al la cart options and all agreed that the Greek meal in the Ionian restaurant was absolutely excellent. The drinks selection was very good, the wine and beer were both better than we were expecting and very drinkable. The cocktails (which I’m not usually bothered by) were so good that I tried a different one each evening! Lots of choice and not syrupy like some places. The bars also serve very good coffee. We spent time at both the beach and pools and never had a problem getting a lounger at any time of the day. The relax pool which is 14+ was particularly lovely. We caught the bus into Corfu town which was very easy - the bus goes back from the same spot they drop you but by the time we headed home it was quite busy and we had to get on quickly to ensure a seat for 2/3 of us. We also walked up to the Achilleion palace which is about 20mins away (warning that the beginning is very steep but it is then an easy walk). There is a small village up there too with a ceramic shop and an olive wood shop. The cats that are often mentioned in reviews were far less than I was expecting and totally non intrusive unless you interact with them. They are fed and watered by the hotel and look to be in good condition. We would definitely come back thank you to everyone at Aeolos for a great stay.
