The service was absolutely amazing. The room was so big and beautiful. We came for my fathers 70th birthday and the staff surprised him and it was a perfect holiday

Paradise in Afandou

This was the best holiday I'd ever been on. My girlfriend and I were looked after so well by all the staff, from Kiki greeting us at reception, to also let us know they had put some food aside for us as our transfer got in so late as we arrived. A lot of the staff do a variety of different roles, from working the restaurant, to serving cocktails in the bar, and others. A huge thank you to Daria, Christina, Royd, Artem, Christine, Maria, Mary, and the restaurant manager to always making us feel so welcome, and enjoying some delightful conversation, and suggesting a wide variety of activities depending on what we felt like doing. We really didn't want to leave. We felt like we were in paradise. The tasteful layout and style of the hotel, how incredibly close it is to the sea, and how nice and quiet it was (not many children) as well as the great entertainment that was supplied (local greek musicians of various styles on different days, 3 days a week). We didn't know what to expect with this holiday, and we were blown away with how great it was. It exceeded all our expectations. The suite we stayed in was lovely and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was incredibly tasty. I cannot fault anything.

Lovely staff good location, when combined with car rental

My wife and I stayed here half board inclusive for 1 week. The food was very good, my wife likes fruits, yogurt and salads and I’m a big meat eater and there was enough variety to suit both our pallets for both breakfast and dinner. The location for sightseeing Rhodes and next to the beach, was good however you will need a rented transportation public transport is not great in Rhodes. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Mary on reception and Christina our waitress. The only thing to note is its states 5 star hotel but in reality, it’s more like a 4 start hotel, the room rate we got was very good for 4 star and we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic day visit

Fantastic day visit to the Afandou Bay! Having been required to leave our villa at 10am and our flight home not until 23:45, we were stuck what to do on our last day. We called the Afandou Bay to see if we could visit for the day and were told we could spend the day using their pool free of charge as long as we purchased drinks or food from their bar. We arrived at around 11am and received a lovely friendly welcome from the receptionist who offered for us to leave our luggage in reception, then explained where the pool and changing facilities were. Five of us managed to get sun loungers and umbrellas next to the pool with no issues. The pool was lovely to cool off in. We had lunch and drinks at the snack bar, bought drinks from the mini market, walked to the beach and had a drink at the beach bar too. After using the immaculately clean shower facilities, we ate in the main buffet restaurant in the evening at a very reasonable cost of €15 per person plus drinks. Our taxi arrived to collect us at 8:30pm to take us to the airport. Overall, a fabulous day. Thank you to the Afandou Bay and your lovely staff for welcoming us and looking after us so well.
