Ahau Tulum

While I am giving this hotel 5 stars, I want to stress that it is because of Fernando, Sergio, Moses and all of the other amazing servers and workers at the hotel. We have been to Ahau 4 times over the course of 14 years. Our last trip was 10 years ago. Tulum in general, has changed drastically. The hotel itself is beautiful but you can tell that it’s under new ownership that is not from the area. The whole experience was very different than when we came many years ago. They also tried to sell us a vacation club membership and wasted about 2 hours of my time on vacation. The service was great. Food was just ok. View is beautiful. Beach is nice when there’s no sargassum and it is incredibly expensive for what you get.

Beautiful property, wonderful staff from carrying every bag to excellent service at the restaurant and beach. The morning yoga was breathtaking and so authentic. Incredible energy at the property and highly recommend! Perfect location to walk to all the great restaurants and shops as well.

Sergio- and all of the staff here have been incredibly generous and helpful. Thank you so much for everything.

Sergio was amazing!! Great service made everyone feel welcome. Staff was also accommodating.
