The resort is located in the culturally charged village of Ubud. The property has a fantastic rice terraces view and is within walking distance to Ubud's sacred Monkey Forest. The villa's rooms are spacious, fully furnished, offering beautiful views. Special note for Extra Bed Arrangement : Due to the space constraint, Alaya Resort Ubud is actually not recommending any extra third person with extra bed in one room. We highly recommend to book 2 rooms instead for your convenience stay. However, due to special situation and guest requirement, we will provide 1 extra in front of the wardrobe area in which it take space and it makes less convenient for your movement in the room.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms big downside is the level of noise at night. Very loud bands playing until at least 11pm. So loud that you cannot sleep. Booked 6 rooms and all 6 people were kept awake from noise. Expensive hotel so you would expect to not have such an experience.

The resort has a welcoming, relaxed ambience and the staff are all friendly, well groomed and courteous. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Fantastic shower, peaceful views, comfy bed. Close to Yogabarn and shops.

The staff there were amazing - especially Kade and Chanis who were always checking on us. The staff remembered our names and they couldn’t do enough for us. It was so quiet and a luxury to come back to the hotel after the chaos out the door! The breakfasts were the best I had on holiday too.

DON’T BOOK AT ALAYA

DON'T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. My l'oréal paris steampod hair iron was broken due to a power outage in my room. Following their intervention, I mentioned to the electrician that my device was no longer functional. Afterwards, I asked the hotel for an investigation and following the electricity report, the hotel had agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the device since I have to get a new one. The next day, they refused to reimburse me, despite their confirmation the day before. This is unacceptable, there are very nice hotels with much better service next door. Don't go to Alaya. Also, take a look at the foods (white particles).
