Aleva Villa

Spent two nights at Aleva Seminyak and it had everything I needed-from little details like Alexa to tasty room service and a private pool. I didn’t even have to leave the room for two days and fully embraced my own Eat Pray Love moment, especially with the flower-filled bathtub. Everything in the villa was smart, tech-friendly, and super functional- definitely a luxurious and comfortable stay. The highlight was getting breakfast delivered to the room- it made the place feel so homey 100% would stay here again!

Our stay at the Aleva Villa Seminyak was absolutely fantastic. We stayed for 5 nights through Luxury Escapes, and we’re so happy with the service and the location. It is located very conveniently in a quieter part of Seminyak but not far at all from the main area. Special mention to Dhea, Angel and Dessy who assisted us during our stay and were incredibly helpful. Great stay and will be coming back

This place is fine but hugely overpriced which led to great disappointment. Our 2 nights costing just over nz$500 I expected sooooo much more! If comparing to accommodation in New Zealand I would place this in the $100-$150 category. Overall I think it WAS high end years ago but is now pretty tired. The receptionists have been very friendly. Our room was not yet ready when we arrived at 3.30pm. It was mostly clean when we got to our room which is long and narrow. Fine for 2 nights. The pool is fine. But much better in photos. A bit too cold. No pool towels provided and only 2 towels in the bathroom. No face cloths. Breakfast menu is small. Ok for a night or two. Juice is watered down and you need to order extra milk for coffee. Breakfast is ordered the night before and delivered to your room at the time you request. Drinking water is a pump from a big bottle, so warm and not easy to refrigerate. The Alexa controlled lights/fans/tv is just annoying and doesn’t work well. We over rode it working out the manual switches. I think someone suggested Aleva villa needed an upgrade and instead of de-scaling the glass in the bathroom, replacing the water damaged mirrors or cleaning the green mould from the pool and doors they installed useless high tech gimmicks. The bed is VERY firm. And our bedsheets had at least 6 stains or suspicious marks on them. The room has to 2-seater sofas, one of which looks old and sagging covers and not inviting to sit on at all. The air con and ceiling fans are great. The only major this wrong with our stay is the ridiculous price. A sad case of “over promised and under delivered” we are glad to be moving to a different hotel today. A final aspect which contributes to the very poor value for money is the poor location. It is possible to walk 12-15 minutes to a little street of shops but impossible to walk to the centre of Seminyak or the beach. That is 15 minute taxi ride away. Final this, ehich cobyributes

Our stay at the villa was decent, but there were a few issues that made it less enjoyable than expected. The biggest disappointment was the flimsy wooden privacy screen, which completely collapsed into the pool and onto a sun lounger during a rainy day—definitely not ideal for relaxation. The villa itself looked a bit jaded and could use some maintenance, though the walkway leading to it was well-kept. There were also minor inconveniences that added up: running out of shower gel halfway through a shower, no pool towels provided, and a rather underwhelming breakfast. On the bright side, the location is convenient, with a laundromat, convenience store, and restaurants all within walking distance. A special shout-out to Ms. Rhea for her excellent service—she was a highlight of our stay. Overall, while the villa has potential, some improvements in maintenance and amenities would go a long way in making the experience smoother.
