Great hotel, service and location.. Everything here felt amazing

I stayed 2 nights with my best friend. Nice, clean, tidy and spacious bedroom with incredibly view. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a plenty of options and it was an enjoyable experience. We love our special time out at Alila. Special thanks to mas Prabu at Sea Salt, mba Suma at the Spa, Beach Bar team were also fabulous to accommodating us, also huge thanks to Mba Yani on reception. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely coma again.

Great hotel but still needs work

Great stay but small changes could make it perfect. I would start by saying don’t stay in room categories below the ocean view. The deluxe are almost in a seperate resort and the garden view face Mrs Sippy which wasn’t a vibe. Rooms are nice but could use maintenance for the price and standard I expect from the Alila. Breakfast was great although slow service most mornings which was frustrating. Seasalt and beach bar will leave you hungry so personally apart from a burger by the pool I wouldn’t bother eating there, go to Mano beach house next door as the food there was amazing and a third of the price. Service overall was slow and for a hotel like this I shouldn’t have to call 4 plus times for our bags to be collected etc. Overall a great stay with some minor things needed to maintain the rooms and offer better service. We stay in a lot of 5 star resorts so can compare and this time it didn’t meet the level I was expecting.
