All Senses Nautica Blue Exclusive Resort

We were allocated this hotel by RSD Travel and were promised a 4 star hotel with beach. It is nowhere near a 4 star and there was no beach. In concept it is like a 1950s holiday camp and I expected to hear Hi De Hi. The bedrooms are in several 2 storey blocks, with no lifts. The bar and restaurant are in a separate building, which means you get wet going for a drink or a meal if it rains. The location is in the middle of nowhere to the west of the airport, and it is a 30min walk to the nearest village (and pharmacy), where there is a bus stop for the one bus a day to Rhodes Town. The bedrooms are spacious, but curiously there is no door to the toilet/bath/shower area which is very embarrassing. Everything is dated and in need of a complete refurbishment. The food was reasonable, the bar staff worked wonders, but the bar in particular was too small with not enough seats. On a positive note the two pools were clean, and there plenty of sun beds, though we found the animation team too loud with monotonous music going thump thump thump thump all the time. We found the staff generally very friendly, and the reception sorted out a maintenance problem with our shower the same day. The reception however was not geared to processing 160 people arriving at the same time. We were not notified of any evening entertainment. We were very lucky to have warm sunny weather all week. If it had rained, we’d have been climbing up the wall by the end of the week. What possessed anyone to build this place in that location?

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience at All Senses Nautica Blue in Fanes, Greece, to help others avoid what we’ve been through. We were offered an upgraded family room by Nautica Blue expecting a comfortable, restful holiday, but were met with serious issues from the moment we arrived. Among the most frustrating: No privacy whatsoever: the toilet had no lockable door, and there was no separation between the bedroom and bathroom—completely unacceptable for shared accommodation. Despite requesting separate single beds on three separate occasions, two adults were forced to sleep on sofa beds. The room telephone didn’t work, making it impossible to contact reception for help. Our bathtub leaked from day one. We reported it daily, yet nothing was ever done to fix it properly. Housekeeping standards were poor: rooms were not cleaned regularly, and fresh towels or clean bedding were often not provided. The bed linen frequently smelled of cigarettes. The AC unit rattled loudly all night. We showed staff a video of the issue; it was eventually fixed—but only after nights of disrupted sleep. Worse still was the way management treated us when we calmly raised these concerns on day 2 of our stay. They were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional—offering only to move us to a lower-grade room that would have put four adults into one shared bedroom, completely disregarding the issues we raised or any sense of customer care. We were made to feel that the problems were somehow our fault and that we were being unrealistic with our expectations of the room which we had supposedly been "upgraded" to. We left feeling that our custom was neither respected nor valued and would describe the remainder of our stay as more like a hostage situation where we felt trapped staying at the hotel. The way we were spoken to by management was frankly shocking, and the lack of effort to resolve serious problems made it clear that guest comfort, customer service and professional courtesy is not a priority here. This was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid booking here. There are far better options in the area where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and receive the service you pay for.

It’s the 23rd April I am here now. There are some harsh reviews on here which if you have travelled with RSD are not deserving. I admit that I was not looking forward to coming to this hotel because of the poor reviews. We arrived at 2030 and were asked to go straight to the Resturant some decided to check in. It’s a big hotel and not yet at capacity so there was plenty of room in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean there was a good selection of food wines, beer, and soft drinks. There are some Greek selections but something for everyone. Checking in was smooth finding our room took a little while due to a missing sign. Room was clean wife happy as our room has a bath. Bed’s comfy. Linen was clean but not the quality we use at home. Next morning we looked out over the large pool which looked clean to me, we don’t like the pool but prefer the beach. Breakfast was very good everything we and other nationalities needed. Lunch the same made my own Greek salad up. It’s not a 5 star hotel to British standards, the hotel is tired and does need some TLC in places, which is probably why TUI don’t go there anymore. There was a very large storm here some weeks ago and the beach is not what it should be, there are piles of seaweed along the front it will take several lorry loads to remove it all there is hardly any sand I guess the hotel will redress this before the season starts properly, not all the facilities in the hotel are open due to it being very early in the season. Some people have had problems with their rooms but as far as I know these have been addressed. Enjoy your stay here don’t expect the best and you won’t be disappointed. The sun is out and the wine and beer are plentiful.

It's like a 1980s, then up market, holiday camp. It was appallingly managed. We had an early -season break and they were not ready. Sheets were too small for the bed, no hot water for 2 days. Very cold room. Only adequately clean. Food was buffet with lots of choice but very little real Greek food. Extremely disappointing.

This hotel needs a complete upgrade. It’s a health & safety disaster. Rooms tired, blankets & towels, I wouldn’t use for dogs bed. It is definitely not 5*, but had to pay 15€ per day tourist tax! At the most this hotel is 3* and tax should reflect that. On a positive note, it was relaxing & had lovely views.
