I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience at All Senses Nautica Blue in Fanes, Greece, to help others avoid what we’ve been through. We were offered an upgraded family room by Nautica Blue expecting a comfortable, restful holiday, but were met with serious issues from the moment we arrived. Among the most frustrating: No privacy whatsoever: the toilet had no lockable door, and there was no separation between the bedroom and bathroom—completely unacceptable for shared accommodation. Despite requesting separate single beds on three separate occasions, two adults were forced to sleep on sofa beds. The room telephone didn’t work, making it impossible to contact reception for help. Our bathtub leaked from day one. We reported it daily, yet nothing was ever done to fix it properly. Housekeeping standards were poor: rooms were not cleaned regularly, and fresh towels or clean bedding were often not provided. The bed linen frequently smelled of cigarettes. The AC unit rattled loudly all night. We showed staff a video of the issue; it was eventually fixed—but only after nights of disrupted sleep. Worse still was the way management treated us when we calmly raised these concerns on day 2 of our stay. They were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional—offering only to move us to a lower-grade room that would have put four adults into one shared bedroom, completely disregarding the issues we raised or any sense of customer care. We were made to feel that the problems were somehow our fault and that we were being unrealistic with our expectations of the room which we had supposedly been "upgraded" to. We left feeling that our custom was neither respected nor valued and would describe the remainder of our stay as more like a hostage situation where we felt trapped staying at the hotel. The way we were spoken to by management was frankly shocking, and the lack of effort to resolve serious problems made it clear that guest comfort, customer service and professional courtesy is not a priority here. This was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid booking here. There are far better options in the area where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and receive the service you pay for.
