Ideal for beach vacationers, families and singles, this resort is located in Corralejo and is right by the beach. Guests can reach the center after about one mile. Guests can reach the nearest shops in about half a mile. The nearest airport is Fuerteventura (FUE), located approximately 20 miles away. Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 342 junior suites and 41 suites. The reception desk is open around the clock. is available to guests. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Great family holiday!!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of food options throughout the day. Corralejo town centre is around a 15 minute walk or a 5€ cab ride. Plenty of tours and attractions on offer on the island, worth booking in advance. Would happily return.

We had a lovely holiday at Alua Suites. The complex was lovely always kept really clean and the gardens were beautiful. The housekeepers kept our rooms clean and provided anything we needed. The two bedroom suite was spacious overlooking the garden so very private. Food was great, something different every night for our main course but there were also the regular popular foods the fussier ones, the staff work tirelessly to keep the restaurants clean even at the busiest times. The entertainment and bar staff also work so hard to make sure your holiday is just as you want it. You can choose the busy lively pools or the quiet ones if you like a more quiet holiday. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed it but wouldn't go back

Went with my wife for 10 days. Thought we booked adult only but it wasn't an adult only we got. You have to pay extra for the my favourites club but there were none available. Food was plentiful and we were happy with it all. Drink was watered down. Lots of pool areas and sun traps you can sit at and usually get a bed. I would go down most mornings and reserve. I would recommend taking a taxi to Rui hotel beach. Lovely sandy beach with beds, big waves and a drink/snack bar. Although pricey was worth it. You can walk into Coralejo in 20 minutes and get all the bars and restaurants to give you a different night. A couple of the entertainment nights were good. Entertainment team were there if you wanted but never bothered you. Seen a couple of cockroaches but they never bothered you. Found the majority of the staff to be good natured, helpful and happy. All areas were spotless and kept tidy. Men don't have to wear long trousers except in the a'la carte or Bermuda shorts.

10 night stay at Alua Suites Fuerteventura

The hotel is located in an accessible location for local town and restaurant's. The accommodation is tired and in need of a ‘make-over’ and updating. The suites are a lovely ‘touch’ with separate sitting area and bedroom. There is also access to your personal patio or balcony. However, on arrival we noticed our air conditioning unit was not working, immediately informed reception and was told maintenance would be sent to our suite. Waited several hours, by which time our suite was extremely hot and stuffy, even with patio doors wide open, front door open and windows open. My partner went to the reception to complain and maintenance arrived; however, shrugged his shoulders and gave us two ‘broken’ fans, which gave no relief from the heat. The noise from the fans going ALL night, meant we did not sleep well and due to the fans not working adequately we had to open the patio doors wide (we were on the ground floor) and windows wide, leaving us vulnerable and unable to get a quality nights sleep. The other downside of leaving the doors open was uninvited ‘guests’. We were worried all night about another guest or member of staff coming into our room while we slept, but no, we were visited by a number of cockroaches, with one deciding to crawl into our bed. My husband complained several times and even spoke with the hotel manager, without any positive results. On the 7th day of our 10 night stay the hotel offered us a room changed, but with only 3 nights left the thought of packing, unpacking and then packing again was overwhelming, so the offer was declined. Alcohol drinks were fantastic, with San Miguel, Gordon’s and Absolute Vodka etc with the all inclusive. Food was hit and miss, if you dined late, not much food left and the buffets were ‘a mess’. No pool bar, and not easy accessible to get drinks while sunbathing at the pool. Pool Bar and luxury sun-beds were part of the ‘My Favourite Club’ inclusive package, which there was no access to for a ‘normal’ guest.

No Air conditioning from day one in one of the suites, otherwise the quality of the room is good with good room service every day if required. Several pools to choose from, although it was a shame the Swimming pools closed too early at 6 pm each evening. No swim-up bar, which was being used to store pool towels a missed opportunity. Good choice of food and locations to dine at, Would have been nice to have air conditioning in the Speciality restaurants, would have thought My Club quests would have a choice of having branded drinks included instead of paying an additional cost. Overall enjoyed the stay but could have been a lot better experience with a couple of tweaks here and there.
