Ok for a short break but wouldn’t want to stay for main holiday.

Overall we had a nice 4 days at this hotel but glad we didn’t book for longer. The room was clean and spacious and a lovely big balcony with gorgeous views. The pool was nice & clean and absolutely massive and we didn’t have any problem getting beds. There are the usual sad people that have to put their towels out at the crack of dawn but as long as you don’t mind being a bit further away from the pool it’s fine. The free bus to the beach is great and what a beautiful beach it is! We paid €31 for 3 of us for a cabana for the day and it was so worth it. Be warned though, the sea is freeezing. The cocktails included in the all inclusive are on tap & pretty disgusting and the food isn’t great either. The breakfast isn’t too bad with plenty of choice so there’s always something you can eat and lunch was ok but same things every day. We only went once in the evening and wasn’t impressed at all so ate in town the rest of our holiday. We walked into town in the evenings and loved it, lots of pretty little streets & some amazing restaurants. My daughter made a cheese roll one morning to take back to the room for later as the snacks were so limited and she was made to feel like a criminal. They made her throw it away rather than just say it’s not allowed and don’t do it again. There’s no signs saying you can’t do that and I saw lots of people doing it. I would return but not to this hotel.

Perfectly functional 4 star hotel

We stayed as a party of 10 and I have to say I have no complaints about this hotel. Ticks all the boxes required for a 4 star. Pool was massive, plenty of room for the kids to play and always got a sun lounger. Staff were friendly and attentive. Queues at the bar not bad, all about timing. Food was of a decent standard and plenty of variety. Sometimes it was a bit cold depending on what time you went down but we used the on site microwave to give it a quick blast back to life. Facilities and location good, free bus to the beach a bonus and taxis to/from the town centre very cheap.

A group of 9 family members came here for 7 nights.The hotel is quite big but only 4 floors high.All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good with a varied choice. My favourite was the curry and the barbecue night which happened twice whilst we were there.The cappuccino in the restaurant and bar is very good. There is no need to reserve a sunbed as there are hundreds available around what is the biggest single pool I've ever seen to be honest. All in all a great hotel in the middle of nowhere for a relaxing holiday.

4* but not for food

Beautiful hotel in a quaint town but the food lets it down massively. If you have been to other 4 star hotels before you will notice a huge difference in quantity and quality. The eating area doesn't have an outside space so it feels very much like a canteen rather than an enjoyable experience. The food doesn't seem fresh and is extremely repetitive. Cocktails are machine made and, unlike other 4 star hotels, not all spirits are available. If you want anything other than a syrupy concoction you need to pay for it. You aren't allowed to take more than 3 drinks at a time from the outside bar area..... Even if it is water from a plastic cup! This made no sense. Kids have access to drinks all day but not ice cream, lollies or slushies. Ice-cream is only available at meal times or after 4pm. If you want an ice-cream or slushie outside of this time you need to pay for it. Towels are available but a deposit of 20 euro per person is needed. There is a spa but you need to pay to access any of it. There is a safety deposit box, but you need to pay for it. As you can see, there is a bit of a recurring theme..... Rooms are very spacious with a separate room with a super king bed. Kids had two fold up beds in a living room area which had sofa, table and chairs and kitchenette. Everything was cleaned daily and towels changed. The pool area is vast with plenty of space. Lifeguards only seem to be in place in one area. Entertainment was good with plenty of opportunities for young kids, teens and adults to get involved. Would we stay again? No. But only because of the food. If you want a clean hotel near a beautiful and quiet fishing village, I would definitely recommend it. If you want decent food and drinks choose somewhere else!
