Hidden gem! Get ready to relax…

Superb boutique resort, with warm and welcoming staff. We hired a two bedroom villa, which came with a lovely private plunge pool. Japanese restaurant was a great surprise, with wonderful staff and food. Tree planting ritual was fun and well organised. Would thoroughly recommended this place!

The service is very friendly. When we first arrived, there was a staff member who helped carry our luggage. Then, when we went to the room, we were escorted and our belongings were brought along. After that, a hotel staff member came to the room to give us a welcome drink. The food is also delicious.

Not worth the money you pay, bad breakfast

Checkin experience was bad, we arrived at 2:15 pm and still the room was not available. They said they can only a lot the room at 3 PM even though it was an off season and most of the hotel was empty. The room was clean but the room is so small that all the time we were walking we were getting hit by the bed corners. The bathroom was small but clean. Another disappointment was the breakfast, they don’t have breakfast buffet and you can order very limited things from menu, also they served 2 pieces of watermelon and 2 pieces of muskmelon and 1 croissant with a bread loaf as complimentary for 2 people which looked very cheap. At this price you can get much better hotels in ubud that too near monkey century which is a better place to stay. Overall a negative experience. Please avoid

We had an amazing time at Amarea! The entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was nothing short of wonderful. Your lovely resort and its staff truly made our stay special. They went above and beyond to help with the decorations, and the food - from breakfast to dinner, and even room service - was top-notch. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
