The Chandra Suriya Gate is a stunning entryway into the guest villa area. Manicured pathways illuminated my walk to our villa. It is a luxurious resort with a staff that pampered our senses. The gardens throughout the resort deserve high honors as the design and care behind them are stunning. Thank you to the friendly staff for making our stay feel like home.

Truly stunning resort with exceptional service. The private villas with the pool…. I could live there for a month! The staff is remarkable. The food is excellent, and the setting couldn’t be prettier. The main pool was under construction. If that is important to you,make sure it is completed before booking. I had a superb massage at the spa, too!

As a Platinum for Life member of Marriott I have been to many hotels over the past 20 years, and the Autograph Collection hotels are always excellent choice. Yet, The Amarterra Villas Resort Bali Nusa Dua, Autograph Collection stand up even among them. We got a nice Villa with marvelous private front yard and pool, with few seating areas, which was amazing after long flights from the US. The hotel is beautiful, staff were extremely nice and the breakfast was rich and tasty.

As soon as we entered Amarterra Villas we felt instantly relaxed. Amarterra Villas is a beautiful boutique resort with around 30 villas in spacious surrounds that add to the sense of tranquility and relaxation. What makes Amarterra special is the staff. Not only are all staff highly professional and friendly but they'll willing to go out of their way to assist. This was even more apparent when we went for a swim at the Ritz Carlton as the main pool at Amarterra was being renovated (this work will be finished by now so don't worry). While the Ritz Carlton is a luxury hotel with well trained staff we felt that the service there was impersonal and tat you were just another "number" compared to Amarterra where many staff greet you by name. We want to especially commend Rai, Ana and Koumang for their outstanding service throughout our stay but every member of staff was good. I have always felt that the Hotels and Resorts the best service are those where the Managers take the time to talk to guests and get feedback. This is true of Amarterra where Lami came to say hello and ask about our stay. Wawan always made a point of saying Hello and checking that we were completely happy. Each villa has its own private pool and is completely private. The villa itself is very well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and there is a great array of choice including some amazing Indian options. While it isn't a buffet this is a good thing as everything is freshly prepared and warm. The menu clearly indicates which choices are vegetarian vegan and gluten free. The meals at Maja Restaurant are also very good. My wife participated in the Daily Activities and had so much fun with the staff running these activities. The Gym is very good. There is a free shuttle within Nusa Dua and unlike some hotels it isn't restricted to a few set times. There is also a beach area set aside for guests of Amarterra Villas. We highly recommend Amarterra Villas.
