This was our first trip to Europe. We were beyond excited, the views of the ocean were incredible, the hotel was very quiet but the service needs to be improved. We had stayed there for a week and most of the staff was absolutely amazing, there were a few individuals at the front desk who were not. First, I had emailed the hotel confirming that we would have airport pick up and I had never received a response back so we just had to hope for the best (mind you we had flew 13 hrs to get to Mykonos). Thankfully the driver was there at the airport but the hotel definitely could improve communication. Second, when it came to scheduling airport transfer to leave Mykonos, there was an issue. When we initially booked the hotel, we paid extra for private transfer. We were not under the impression that the €50 was only for ONE WAY “private pick up” from the airport, we thought it was for both arrival and departure. Anyways one of the front desk people explained to us that it was for both while another person in the front desk said another thing. Essentially the €50 was only for pick up from the airport and the front desk assistant manger went back and forth with me to try to prove his point. It was super unprofessional and honestly just sounded like a scam to us, they then offered “complimentary group transfer” which we agreed to. We explained the time that we wanted and they told us that they had “scheduled” it. Our flight was early the next morning and when we went to the front desk with our luggage they said that there were no transfers scheduled for us. We couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional the staff were at the end of our trip. We truly loved Mykonos and the atmosphere but we will probably not stay at the Amazon again. Last, they gave us the wrong room. It had a completely different layout with less from what we booked online. We didn’t mention anything due to the fact that we were extremely exhausted from traveling and the time difference upon arrival.
