This was our 4th time back to this stunning hotel, the first time under new management. Very glad to say that it is still as wonderful as ever. There were familiar and new faces. We were greeted by Pepi who is just the loveliest, and Ellie who is such an excellent addition to the team. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. The property has the all the Santorini charm, and probably more so, as you feel part of the caldera. Its very private too. One on the drawbacks of the hotels of this quality in Imerovigli and Oia is that tourists either walk past the front of your pool room or look down on it. This doesn't happen here. The rooms are so characterful and spacious and very clean thanks to excellent staff. We had Rania and Nina in the morning and the evening. Both brilliant. The table service breakfast was seemless. We were really happy to see Dinos and Padelis again this year. The restaurant has a stunning view, better than most of the restaurants on the island. You don't really have to leave the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from Akrotiri which is a beautiful town with lovely white winding streets set round an old venetian citadel. So much charm. It has some fantastic restaurants. We can recommend Misteli for excellent cooking with a modern twist on the greek classics, Zafora for the classics and Aeolos, who pick you up and drop you off. Aeolos has wonderful food and the sunsets are stunning. The owner Litsa is charming. Theofanis is also excellent with a charismatic owner Minas - always worth going. You'll spoiled for choice here. Overall, such a brilliant hotel!!
