Ananta Burin Resort

Stay Dates: 13 – 16 September 2025 We stayed at Ananta Burin Resort and had a great experience overall! The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids. We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!). Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient. Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great! Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

Booked two rooms at this hotel and was really looking forward to it. Contacted the hotel a couple of weeks before travelling to confirm our rooms could be adjoined (2 adults, 2 kids) or at least right near each other. The staff said they would attempt to accommodate the request at check-in but couldn't make any commitments. As such, we had to cancel and find a different hotel as the trip is non-refundable by the time we check in. The hotel didn't offer any alternatives or suggestions either. Bizarre.

Very bad!!! Nothing like the pictures, very old and unpleasant. The staff was not kind and a bit hostile. We were suppose to stay 13 nights, we left after 1 night and they were not willing to refund us, but it was ao bad we could not stay.

This hotel was booked for one night as a stopover to Phi Phi and simply chosen because of the waterslides for my son. However, what a surprise really spacious light rooms with access to the pool. A really great swim up pool bar with happy hour and a great environment for the family around the pool with the slides. Easy to walk to the beach and the restaurants and bars. An amazing night market with entertainment and food. this was quite a surprise as this was a really lovely hotel that I’d happily spend an extra 4 nights in. I would say the breakfast is very busy but it does have a nice variety. However, you do have to sit outside or in the room without any Aircon so this wasn’t the greatest experience. In Reception, there is a games area for the kids which is great with pool and a football table, which is a real added bonus We originally had a balcony room which was absolutely fine but smelt funny but they moved us immediately so we were very happy. So if you’re not happy do ask as the staff were quite attentive. This is a family resort so you will hear children in the morning and by the pool will have children swimming and playing. I thought this was beautiful with the little outlets to sunbathe and relax. There’s also a lazy river which is great for both adults and children. Overall, I was surprised just how nice and what a great location as Hotel was and would highly recommend it if you’re staying in the area
