Staff attitudes are weird (but this is very consistent with the reviews I've read in the province everywhere). For example this is the only hotel in Krabi that: 1) On my last morning on a 4 night stay I was asked by 3 different staff at breakfast for my room number at the buffet to ensure I had paid for it??? It was already all paid on checkin and you don't remember me the other 3 mornings? 2) Another morning the staff asked me not to take my half finished cordial out of the breakfast area? What's the big deal? They have room service anyway. 3) Despite confirming this would be ok before my stay the front desk wouldn't give me a spare keycard we had different members of family so not everyone would be in the room at the same time.... Then when I knocked and nobody was there, the staff took FOREVER to come and open the room up for me I had to ask TWICE. What was I supposed to do? The parking, although included was always pretty much full. The only spots left are by half parking in the other cars already in the spots filled by resort related vans and vehicles. Realiscially only about 6 spots from memory and the 2 shuttles and some dive van always took up 3 spots already. The other cars were always there for the week so I had to park against a bush or risk parking those cars in. Hygiene in the restaurant is questionable, staff picking up leftover pastries for the next day and taking it out of the glass jar in the morning with bare hands. Some of the food wasn't fully cooked, the others feel like they just reuse the prior days leftovers for other meals. This was the hotel I got a minor case of food poisoning at and in hindsight that doesn't surprise me. Flies everywhere uncovered fruits. Be careful. Ants, a real issue. Crawling all over breakfast areas, in the room counter only. Otherwise that being all said, room felt clean and if you can expect a budget accommodation this would be good.
