AoNang Villa Resort

Place is nice, clean. Staff is very very helpful and courteous. We had asked for 2 rooms and they gave us interconnected rooms- which was very nice and convenient. Breakfast was okay. Location is good, near to the market so lots of restaurants nearby. The beach is walkable from the resort. Overall- a good place.

We just had the most wonderful stay, Ammy and Yaya on the front desk were absolutely amazing and helped us find two wonderful local restaurants. Room was lovely with a pool view and the cocktails were amazing thank you Big the bartender who was lovely. We also enjoyed an evening meal at the restaurant and the floor supervisor was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We moved from our other hotel as it was awful to this fabulous one. Staff at reception took ages to find us the best deal and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous with a king size bed and lovely balcony. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool area was great although we didn’t have brilliant weather to use it much. Right across the road from the beach and central to all bars, shops and restaurants. Had a fantastic massage there, which was very reasonable. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Also the bar area was good where you can eat also if you wanted. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Another fantastic stay at Ao Nang Villa! We stayed here in 2023 and loved it so much we decided to return for two weeks and use the hotel as our base for exploring further afield as we had such an amazing time previously. It was fantastic to see so many of the staff we had previously seen still there and that many of them remembered us! This hotel is in a fantastic location right on the doorstep of the beach and close enough to the hustle and bustle of many shops and restaurants which you don’t really hear when on the premises. Yes, you do hear the long tail boats during the day but for us it’s not a big issue as you get used to it and people have to work! This time our room was overlooking the big pool with fantastic view of the limestone cliffs. Impeccably clean and cleaned every other day (our choice) to a high standard. Yes there are times when you will experience fluctuations in water temperature in the shower when there is obviously high demand at busy times. I’ve even experienced this in uk hotels! Breakfast has a great selection of local dishes, fruits, breads, cereals, plenty to choose from. The omelettes are delicious! Although we didn’t eat as much in the hotel this time (our choice as wanted to explore more street food and restaurants this time round) the times we did eat here was just as delicious. Drinks & food prices compared to the U.K. are ofcourse extremely respectable. Thank you to all the team for again being welcoming and friendly. Especially the massage ladies by the pool, it was so lovely to see you again and thank you for looking after us, I miss seeing you guys everyday! A must shout out to the garden and grounds team who are overlooked on reviews, they work just as hard keeping the premises clean. The gardens always look immaculate. The only downside to our stay was hearing visitors demand ‘English! English! English!’ right in staff members faces. On one occasion I did step in as the woman in question was just down right rude and I couldn’t listen to that behaviour. She did not realise I to was from the uk and give her, her due she did apologise but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. To me this is unacceptable behaviour no matter who you are or where you are from. Be respectful, you chose to visit and if you can’t speak the language be polite in letting who you are talking to know that. Manners cost nothing. We look forward to seeing you all in 2027 when this time we return with all our family!

The hotel was lovely and the location was great. We stayed for 5 nights as part of our 10 night trip to Thailand. Plenty of sunbeds available and family friendly. Just be aware, their policy is that children 12 and under are expected to share a bed with parents. We travels as 2 families, total of 8 people over three rooms. They tried to give us three double beds between the rooms. They then wanted to charge us 10,000 baht to have a pop up bed added to 2 x rooms. No way I’m sharing a bed with my partner and my 11 year old daughter. When you book a holiday for 8 people, I don’t think it’s unreasonable that you expect a place to stay for everyone. Other than this the stay was good but just be aware!
