This beautiful hotel enjoys a peaceful setting in the centre of Fuengirola and 5 minutes from the region's main beaches, where guests can have a relaxing swim and discover the entertainment and dining venues in the vicinity. My husband and I returned to the Veramar for three weeks in Apr/May. As always the reception staff were courteous and very helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool which was ideal for sitting out on the balcony in the mornings. The small kitchenette has cooker rings, microwave, fridge and kettle. There is a walk in shower and there is always plenty of hot water. The SKY bar is lovely in the evenings. One con. People queue for the pool area opening. Lay down there towels and often disappear for a few hours. There is a panaderia a small convenience store and launderette across the road and a supermarket at the end of the road. There is a couple of tapas bars in close proximity and it is a short walk into the town centre where there are an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. Also not far from the promenade and the castle. We are looking forward to another stay at the Veramar later on this year. 😁 Have stayed in other areas of the town but prefer the location of the Veramar as it has a more “local” feel to it.

this has been our to go hotel every time in fuengirola but sadly last time on a late arrival entered room to find shower tray full off pubic hairs and loads off debris on telling guy in reception he came looked said himself disgusting but no rooms to change in morn cleaner came told us broken pipe etc no apologies glass off beer on the house nothing , At 9am on the dot everyone rushes out put there towels on all beds and then disappear for breakfast or whatever they do within 2 mins all beds gone , Management obviously se this but choose to do nothing , our room was showing its age bits off floor missing cupboards falling apart . Shame as used to love this place

This hotel is ideally situated very close to all amenities. There are bars, an excellent bakery across the road. It's a €1.5 to town on the bus. it's 10 mins from the beach , what more can you ask for ? The hotel itself is immaculate , and the room is light and spacious as we had a 1 bed apartment . The housekeeping staff are brilliant . The pool is good but you have the beach which is really good . There is a poolside bar that does food and refreshments . The sk bar is lovely, but it deffo needs shading as it's brutally hot, but the views are brilliant . Last but not least, the reception staff were really good and helpful and could not fault them . On the whole, a great stay or base would recommend

Friendly staff, a very clean & functional hotel, rooms cleaned regularly, quite a small pool area with not many sunbeds but we went to the beach most days, decent priced pool bar, rooftop bar was great to start the night off, good location, enjoyed our stay & would recommend
