No complaints with Veramar itself but some people on here saying plenty of bars outside the building don't think so had to walk at least 20 mins to get to decent bar just nothing around in this area

Great base for exploreing the wonderful fuengirola.

The veramar is in a great location,great local supermarket 2 min walk,bakery across the road and lots of restraunts and bars outside the door,The beach is so close less than 10 min walk.The prominade in Fuengirola is stunning.The port is beautiful.We done so boat trips.Also the bus station only 15 min walk.We got the bus to pueblo Mijas for 1.60 each way,brilliant value,well worth a trip.The apartment itself was fine but very dated,wood floor seen better days but partical sea view was wonderful from balcony which in August had sun and got quite hot most of day.The pool was quite small and no hope of a sun lounger after 9 am as people were allowed throw the towel on and disappear till they felt like returning.I think this should be stopped,very unfair.The reception staff were really pleasant.We didnt eat there so cant comment.I did wake up during our stay with a lot of nasty bites from my ankle and all up my calves.The bites took over 10 days to go and I had to get a special cream to ease them. The cleaning team worked hard and no issue with getting towels.Over all we had a great time here.The hotel is an ideal base for exploreing the wonderful Fuengirola.

On arrival the reception area is all new and modern looking. The swimming pool is small but is an ok area. That’s where it stops. The rooms are terrible they are like a chalet in buttons from years ago. One of the beds was broken ant the toilet was also broke. Went reception and in fairness they changed the within the hour. The staff we came across were friendly and polite but for me that was the only good thing about this hotel. We left a day early. I would recommend if you have booked this hotel to cancel your reservation.
