APEIRON BLUE SANTORINI

This is a small intimate hotel in Messaria ,located at the main road ,about 5km away from.Fira Town. We went there on our honeymoon and we had expectations about a 5 star hotel.Note that we came there from.another 5 star hotel we booked the previous days . The hotel is nice but I.wouldn't give.it a 5 star because of some small things that do make.a.difference. We had a crystal jacuzzi room at the 1st floor overlooking the Caldera. The room is clean but nothing impressive about the design that is minimal and lacks character especially if we referred to a place such as Santorini. The floors are always cold and lack carpets ,the rooms lack colours ,bathroom has slippery floors, the sink in the hallway is useless because of having another one in the bathroom. No solid soap is a minus ,the housekeeping was always coming in the morning although we requested for the housekeeping after lunch time ,and they didn't give the same cleaning service they should. At the breakfast they charge sparkling water and at a 5 star hotel that's not ok and they didn't have icecubes or cold water at breakfast, always still water that was almost at room temperature. The breakfast is OK. The terrace at the pool lacks vegetation and the stairs to get inside the pool are steep and have no railing .Getting on the first 3 sunbeds on the pool is very difficult because they lack stairs and you need to get out of the pool and walk towards the sunbeds and if you want to walk out of the sunbeds you need to.make a big step . Also a minus is that you can't order finger food or icecream while being at the pool ,you need to get down to the restaurant ,order there ,wait for the order to be made and get them on the upper terrace by yourself. At noon there isn't any shade given by those umbrellas and in Santorini at noon the shaded areas are mandatory due to the sun. Overall a decent hotel ,in a quiet place ,good experience for those staying for the first time on the part of the island overlooking the Caldera. Not a luxury hotel ,not a 5 star hotel in comparison to others on the same island .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visit the area .The rooms were spotless , comfortable and beautifully designed , with everything needed for relaxing stay. The staff was friendly , professional and willing to help with a smile . the location was excellent . breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of options to choose from every morning . what impressed me the most was the attention to detail and high level of hospitality . I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all.

😀😀 We visited this hotel for the second time and once again had an amazing experience with absolutely no regrets. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful renovations in the reception area and the restaurant — modern, elegant, and very stylish. The staff and overall service were even better than before. Despite the bad weather, we fully enjoyed the hotel’s facilities, our spacious room with the jacuzzi, and the stunning sea and sunset views. This is the perfect place to enjoy the authentic Santorini sunset away from the crowds of Fira. The food was absolutely delicious, which is why we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant every evening. The management and staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. It’s clear that everyone here truly loves their job and genuinely cares about their guests. A huge thank you for giving us such a wonderful vacation experience.
