Aqua Hotel

Staff made the hotel so friendly, food never 5 star it was like slop.We went out most nights spending money we didn't expect to.Our grandkids lived on basically chips as the kids corner is seasonal?? Not sure of how that works as a few kids were there.We stayed here 4 year ago and never had an issue with kids food.Hotel and pool a good,bar staff go out there way to help.Well most of them.

We love the Aqua, having been lots of times but noticed this year that it was losing its touch. Weeds around the pathways, the sunbed cushions burst. Less food choices, having to wait longer for drinks service in the receprion and pool bars and the evening entertainment was awful. Too many acrobatic and dance stuff. People want a live singer or musical show not kids jumping around. It used to be a highlight. It's no wonder the animation team were struggling to get interest. A new member of the animation team, Jem is a welcome addition, very enthusiastic and all round nice fella who within a few days knew everyone's name. We'll be back next year but if it's the same, it could be our last. If Ahmed, the restaurant manager retires as planned in 2027, they could be on trouble.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, lots of meal choices. Located by the beach for easy access and also close to pubs, restaurants and shops, yet very quiet and relaxing. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean and the room was too. I can't recommend highly enough for a relaxing all inclusive experience, total value. And also, the beauty parlour, hairdressers and tattoo place were spot on as well, I personally had both a hair cut and tattoo whilst there, VERY good value for the money.. I hope you enjoy as much as I did..

First time to Icmeler and it certainly won't be the last! This is a very special hotel, much smaller than we are used to but that made it more intimate. Everyone was so friendly and staff worked very hard. Food was ok for us, would not suit everyone, however we could always put a nice meal together, again a much smaller buffet than we are used to from bigger hotels but still plenty of choice and very nice, tasty meals. Nice location to be able to walk into town which is a short walk away, great walk along to Marmaris too. Drinks at this hotel on the whole were good and had branded drinks which makes a big difference. The entertainment acts in the evening were very good, our favourite being Golden Tones, what a fantastic trio they were, really got the place going, other acts during our stay were good too. Entertainment could have been so much better in the evenings rather than having kids disco for an hour prior to an act when hardly any kids there seemed odd, could quite easily have done this in a side room next to the lobby. The night usually ended abruptly when an act finished when adults wanted to carry on dancing and having a great time, this did happen every now and again and you could see that what guests wanted. It is very rare we mention any staff members names particularly when so many gave great service, however there are 2 guys in particular that stood out way above the rest, no surprises on their names I guess! Roni & Samet, these guys remembered your drinks and always were very alert as to when you needed a top up, they would just appear, these lads are very good at their jobs, well done fellas! Sadly as is sometimes the case there were a couple of chaps that gradually lost interest in giving good service, no doubt chasing new arrivals of guests that were probably tipping more generously? it was like we became invisible, very strange behaviour and sadly let all the other guys down by doing this and it didn't really have any effect other than the really good waiters would notice your glass was empty and would come and give good service, not going to name names, but these guys know who they are and need to remember that tourists give them the jobs they have and we have paid a lot of money to be there. We never go back to the same hotel twice, however we did look to coming back to the Aqua same time next year and sadly price is around 30% dearer! so we will be looking elsewhere. The one other downside to Icmeler is the transfer time from Dalaman airport, but I wouldn't not go because of that.

We arrived late to a warm welcome. Check in very swift. We were told we could go to the resturant where we got a cold plate of food and soup. This was a nice touch. Room was exceptional very spacey with plenty of storage space. We had an end room which provided us with lots of light. Shower always hot and powerful. Staff at this hotel are all very accomodating and friendly. Pool was always warm, can't be doing with a freezing pool. The surrounding area was great with beautiful gardens where you could sit and drink and watch the sea and people. Food and drink were very good especially breackfast and lunch. There is a snack bar which is also very good. Must say evening meal let the hotel down a bit, but there was always something to eat. Only gripe is pool service for drinks i found very poor. Could do with more staff asking if you wanted a drink. All in all a very good hotel and we will be returning next year.
