We have just returned from our second stay (11 nights) at the Aquagrand, and after previously being impressed by the hotel we decided to have our wedding here and are so glad we did. Room: We stayed in a seaview room with private pool and were very satisfied with it, it was clean and modern. It was cleaned daily and we also received a turndown service each night, which was a nice touch. We had an ongoing issue with the aircon when we first arrived, the hotel were very quick to fix this and ultimately replaced the unit. They offered to move us room to avoid any inconvenience, however we just stayed out the room in the morning at the pool and it was fixed by the time we returned! Wedding: The main part of our holiday was our wedding, with the main selling point being the hotels beautiful wedding area with chapel, which is a stunning backdrop, with dinner in the Blufin Restaurant where we also had our DJ and dance floor. Rebecca and Henrietta couldn't have done any more for us over the last two years planning our wedding and were always on hand to answer any questions and planned the most beautiful day for us, thank you! We had just over 20 guests, with some staying in the hotel itself, and all were equally impressed. Service Manager George and his staff which includes the food and beverage manager and waiters that night (Stavros & Thanasis) were brilliant throughout the night, were always available and served us some of the best food we've ever eaten! Main Restaurant: The main restaurant for breakfast and dinner is the buffet restaurant (Pentapolis), which is probably the best buffet we've been to. There is plenty choice, which changes everyday, and is high quality and fresh. George and his staff are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. Pools/beach: The hotel has two pools and its own beach, so plenty choice for where to spend your day, we often went to the beach which had comfy sun beds. We were always able to get a bed no matter what time we went. The food in the beach bar is great and it is a nice setting. The pools aren't heated but are refreshing when it gets hot. The sun beds at the main pool could do with being upgraded as they are older and aren't as comfortable as the ones by the smaller pool and beach. Hotel: The hotel grounds are well maintained and lovely to walk around, it's a spacious hotel and always feels quiet. The staff are friendly and always on hand to help. The hotel has a small shop which is handy as you can buy snacks and drinks for the room. My only suggestion would be for a larger/improved gym as it doesn't match the existing 5 star facilities available at the hotel. We had an amazing stay at the Aquagrand and can't wait to return!
