Aqualand Resort

Our family stayed at Aqualand Resort for a week, and unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing overall. The all-inclusive offering is very limited, ending at 11pm, and service is slow due to only one bartender being on duty most of the time. This often resulted in long waits, which became frustrating quickly. The evening entertainment is average at best, with a small stage and limited seating, making it difficult to actually enjoy the shows. The “tavern” restaurant, which requires booking a day in advance, serves the same food as the main buffet, so it doesn’t feel worth the effort. Food in general lacks variety and flavour—if you enjoy spicy or well-seasoned meals, you may want to bring your own sauces. Drinks are also limited to local alcohol brands only. The waterpark is heavily advertised but feels underwhelming. Even more frustrating is that hotel guests do not get priority access—you can only enter an hour after opening and must leave an hour before closing. On top of that, the all-inclusive package does not apply inside the waterpark, meaning you have to pay high prices for food and drinks. This led to constant back-and-forth between the resort and waterpark, which was inconvenient. Late arrivals are poorly handled—after 9:30pm there is no food available until breakfast at 7:30am. Night staff were unhelpful and unable to assist with issues. When we arrived, our room had ants, but we were told nothing could be done until the morning. The air conditioning initially didn’t work properly and, after being “fixed,” leaked water throughout the night. The resort itself feels overly restrictive. During the day, drinks are only available from the pool bar, even though there is a bar near reception. Room keys are also inconvenient—only one is provided, and additional keys require a deposit, which makes it difficult for families to move around independently. Cleanliness and maintenance are inconsistent. Toilets are often dirty, poorly located, and don’t lock properly. If you have a late flight, your options are either to pay a high fee to keep the room or leave your belongings in an unsecured luggage area with subpar shower facilities. The only positive is that after checkout, you can still use the resort facilities, including food, drinks, and the waterpark. Overall, this resort did not meet expectations and does not offer good value for money.

I stayed at the resort for a week and I have no complaints. The food was great, and the staff amazing, attentive and friendly. The highlight of my stay was the animation team, big thanks to Leo and Roman for making sure every evening was worth remembering, I had lots of fun thanks to them!

We had a lovely holiday at Aqualand, Corfu. We arrived on 21st May for 7 nights. Booked through TUI, arrived later than expected due to delay on flight but the transfer driver was so lovely and chatty all the way to the complex ⭐ Check-in was quick and easy being past 9pm. Sandwiches, fruit and cakes were on the desk for us to help ourselves to as the buffet had closed which was a nice surprise. The lady working on the reception put our wristbands on and gave us directions to our room which backed onto the pool (1207). Our room was lovely with sliding doors between the main bedroom and the kids room. Clean and comfortable apartment with comfy beds and pillows! We unpacked and went for a drink at the bar before settling down for the night. First day was great! Breakfast started at 7:30 which was perfect for us early risers. Went down after breakfast to the pool and managed to get some sun beds without any issues. After the 1st 2 days, sun beds began becoming an issue to get if you didn't reserve them early morning 🙄 The pool opened at 10am by the lifeguards when they arrived. The pool was cold first thing but it was fine once you started swimming 🤣 by midday it was lovely. The kids pool was much warmer. Both pools and the wave pool had textured flooring so aqua shoes are highly recommended. Lots of people learnt the hard way with cuts on their feet 😬 The snack bar and poolside bar opened at 10am every day and service was great! The gate through to the slides opened at 11 every day so that was lovely to come and go throughout the day. There was a photographer on the Catapult slide and one on the Crazy River that were taking photos that you could buy from the kiosk in the afternoon. The photos were so much fun and good quality ⭐ The wave pool was fantastic and we all really enjoyed using this on and off each day. Waves started 15 minutes after the last waves finished and there was always lots of rubber rings for everyone to use. Tuesday and Saturday evenings before dinner, there was a company called DS photography that were offering to take family photos. We had some done and they were sooo lovely 😍 highly recommend having some done with your family as they were beautiful ❤️ the photographers were lovely. Photos were available to buy at breakfast the following morning ❤️ Food at the buffet restaurant was replenished often and we always found plenty to eat each day as we are not fussy eaters. Always had spaghetti, chicken nuggets, pizza and chips each night and then had theme nights which was great to try new things. Food was always cooked nicely and we never had a bad meal. Drinks were great, beer and wine on tap, fresh fruit juices, Pepsi max, 7up, orangeade and a few other fizzy drinks, and cocktails from the bars were made up fresh every time you order, not from a machine 👍🏻 Rooms were cleaned every day (except Sundays) and towels changed every day We booked a bus trip to Glyfada Beach through the hotel. Popped to reception the day before we wanted to go, they take your room number and ask if you want a lunch to take with you. Lunch is picked up the morning of the trip at 9am and the coach leaves at 9:30. 15 minutes drive to the beach. Stunning sandy beach and clear water to swim in! Plenty of sun loungers with parasols to use. We paid €15 for 2 sun loungers and a parasol with a table, and the kind man gave us a 3rd lounger free of charge for the kids. Watersports on the beach were great too! The men running the activities were lovely! Made a fuss of our kids and videoed our activity from the boat for us which was lovely! Highly recommend using them for some fun 🚤 Would highly recommend a visit here. The staff were all very friendly.

Marco, head of the entertainment team is so brilliant! All the kids love him, not just mine, and a really lovely genuine guy that is more than happy to help. Also the fire show is amazing! Rooms are nice, watch out for stubbing your toe in the bathroom though. George, elena and thio on the beach bar are great aswell! The ladies on reception, Athena and Marina, are very happy to help and also really funny (they helped play a prank on my boy cause he kept losing the room key) I really liked the food, but as always the kids can be picky Not one bad experience here! Would come again in a heartbeat

We recently stayed at Aqualand Resort in Corfu as a group of 12 people, including 5 children, and unfortunately our overall experience was average at best. The biggest disappointment was the all-inclusive food. The quality was poor and hygiene standards did not feel up to scratch for what is advertised as a 4-star resort. One thing we noticed immediately was the complete lack of hand sanitiser stations around the dining areas, which was concerning given the number of guests using the facilities daily. The rooms themselves were acceptable and the air conditioning worked very well, which was definitely one of the better aspects of the stay. However, the bathrooms were poorly designed with virtually nowhere to store toiletries such as soaps, shampoos, or personal items. The overall upkeep of the resort also felt neglected. There were weeds growing through pathways and around the grounds, and many of the lawns looked like they hadn’t been cut for quite some time. It gave parts of the resort a tired and poorly maintained appearance. Another major issue was how arrivals and departures were handled. We arrived at around 12:30am on our first night and had effectively missed dinner. There were a few sandwiches left at reception, but they were unrefrigerated and we had no idea how long they had been sitting there, so understandably we were reluctant to eat them. Then on our final day, despite having a late checkout and missing our first evening meal, we were told by a manager that our entire party had to hand back our all-inclusive wristbands immediately after breakfast. This meant we were left without lunch or dinner access for the remainder of the day, which was extremely inconvenient — especially with 5 children in the group. Considering we missed food on arrival, we felt the resort could and should have handled this far better. Overall, while there are a few positives such as the air conditioning and decent room size, this resort does not feel like a genuine 4-star experience. In our opinion, it is closer to a 3-star resort at best.
