Hotel is really nice,the location is really beautiful. A cool vibe is here to get relaxed on a vacation. The rooms were spacious,clean and well maintained and also had a great view. The food was great and totally up to expectations. Service was great,we were served by Amandi and she was very pleasant and kind. We’ll definitely come again.

Elephant overload!

Quite a nice but too-tall-for-the-area beachfront hotel in Unawatuna. It’s a little gaudy, and we weren’t fans of the wrist bands (clashed with our outfits 😂) or the pool towel cards, but we had a lovely spacious room with a view of the Beach Club and ocean and a great balcony from which to enjoy said view. Loved the infinity pool on the 12th floor. Did I mention the elephants? SO many elephants! We enjoyed lunches at the Tiki Bar and happy hours at Te Lounge. Disappointingly the Sky Lounge was closed both times we checked and Bay View was undergoing renovations, but we enjoyed the vistas from Viewpoint (SO much more could be made of this rooftop space). Breakfast in both Saffron and Olives was excellent. One thing that struck us was the warmth of the elevators - SO hot, such that if you got stuck in one you’d be lucky to survive!
