So I checked in and was told if you supported the green plan ie, no cleaning no towel change no bedding change or make up etc you would receive a 200 bhat voucher to spend on what turned out to be an expensive hotel, turns out you don t get any loo roll complimentary bottle of water or a coffee sachet. Which Cost 16 baht, after complaint to the staff I got no joy, so you sacrifice the petty minimal stuff for two days and only find that out when you request loo roll, my room was on the third floor near the lift which through the day and night rang at each stop bing bong morning noon and night, tiled floors with huge gaps on the bedroom door meant you where never gone have a restful sleep, the bedroom door had a gap of about 1/2 an inch down the side and head and about an inch on the bottom so whatever happened outside on the landing you were involved, the food beer and drinks compared to local bars was expensive, for instance 4 small Leo and one large came to 1840 Bhat in English £42 ish, to sum up lovely lovely Thai people as ever but well overpriced and a ridiculous green policy, saving on the linen towel’s time and labour is a great saving for the hotel but to then refuse a loo roll is pathetic !!! on a positive the breakfast was great
