Aspira Hotel Playa del Carmen

Wer bei TUI 4 Sterne bucht, erwartet kein verrostetes Bad und defekte Möbel. Wir sitzen seit dem 07.03. im Aspira Hotel fest und werden vom TUI-Service nur vertröstet. ​Ein Zimmerwechsel brachte keine Besserung – auch das zweite Zimmer ist in einem maroden, unhygienischen Zustand. Sämtliche Fotobeweise wurden TUI mehrfach per Mail zugestellt, woraufhin der Kontakt einfach abgebrochen wurde. Es gibt keine Reiseleitung vor Ort und keine Hilfe über die App. ​Die Hotelbeschreibung ist schlichtweg falsch: Kein Safe, kein Shuttle, keine Strandbar. Wir fordern die sofortige Umquartierung! Die Fotos der Zustände habe ich zur Warnung anderer Urlauber bei Google Maps hochgeladen. TUI, reagieren Sie endlich auf Ihre Kunden! Wir sind dann am 12.03.26 auf eigene Kosten in ein besseres Hotel (HM Hotel absolut empfehlenswert) erstmal auf eigene Kosten umgezogen. ​Review: I strongly advise anyone against staying at the Aspira Hotel & Beach Club. Our vacation turned into a nightmare, and we eventually had to check out early at our own expense because the conditions were unbearable and dangerous. ​1. Severe Safety Risks: The pool area is a death trap. There are open, uncovered maintenance shafts right where guests walk. We pointed this out to the staff, but nothing was done. If you are traveling with children, stay away! ​2. Hygiene and Smell: The rooms have a heavy, musty and moldy odor that makes it hard to breathe. We found mold and rust in the bathroom. It is clear that maintenance is non-existent here. ​3. The "100-Gram Penalty" Food Policy: The food quality is an insult (breakfast consisted of marshmallows and low-quality items). To make it worse, there is a policy stating that if you leave more than 100 grams of food on your plate, you will be fined. Forcing guests to eat inedible food or pay a penalty is pure harassment and a total rip-off. ​4. Poor Customer Service: TUI failed to provide an adequate solution on-site. We had to pay nearly $1,000 USD out of our own pockets to move to a clean and safe hotel (HM Playa del Carmen). ​Conclusion: Do not trust the photos on the website. This hotel is neglected, dirty, and dangerous. Save your money and your health—book somewhere else!

This place doesn't exist. False advertising and very misleading photos and description. There are no bars no restaurants no gym, no hairdryer no ironing facilities. Pool isn't on beach. Wasn't the cleanest either. We checked out a week early and when we were checking out the guy on reception had a look at our reservation with love holidays and told us that we are not in the accommodation advertised. That it has closed down 5 years earlier and that they are still using the images and description. Avoid at all costs. Very disappointed.
