What a wonderful hotel, near all the action in Thira. We stayed here for a week and loved it. The hotel is bright and clean, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Georgia, she checked us in and upgraded our room as it was my birthday, we had a junior suite with indoor jacuzzi, which was fantastic. The room was lovely, bright and plenty of space, the bathroom was lush with double shower, plenty of wardrobe space, kettle with tea and coffee supplies. We had a terrace which was great for watching the sunrise. The breakfast was ok, a variety of cold meats, cheese, salad, fruit, cereal and hot food from eggs scrambled, fried and boiled, potatoes, sausage and ham like bacon. Fresh bread was delicious, and a selection of cakes and treats. The hot food was never that hot, Luke warm at best. The breakfast let the hotel down, we were never excited to go to see what there was. However we were greeted everyday by wonderful staff, they made our breakfast time, always happy to see you. The pool area is lovely, nice sun-beds, nice plants and clean. Pool bar served a variety of drinks, it was €17 for an aperol spritz, not cheap but in keeping with the prices on the island. The people that work at the hotel are what make your stay special, they were all friendly and helpful, the three ladies at reception gave us loads of tips on where to eat, boat trips and car hire. We booked all through the hotel and everything we did was excellent. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. Thira is a 5-8 min walk up hill from the hotel, you are also near the bus station which is ideal for travelling around the island, €2 to where ever you want to go.
