Brilliant family holiday

31 May 2025
This was our first all inclusive family holiday. My husband and I are well travelled but this is the first holiday with our two young children to this type of ‘all inclusive’ resort, and it did not disappoint. The hotel was lovely, we had a room overlooking the big hill, which was really nice. The food was plentiful and always catered to us and our two small children. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The facilities at the hotel were great. The water park was great and never felt busy. The only negatives were the pools were cold, our 1 year old struggled to be in them for long. And that some of the cocktails lacked any alcohol! But the barman in the bar inside was brilliant and those ones were fab! All in all we had the most wonderful week, thank you Atlantica Agean Blue for creating the perfect first family holiday memories for us. We have recommended the hotel to all our friends and family since our return and we would happily come back too!

Fantastic

31 May 2025
Fantastic family stay! Water park was a massive hit with our kids, great fun for adults too! Ours were a perfect age (7&9) to enjoy both the kids slides but also tall enough for the adult slides! They had a blast. Food was very good every day and loads of variety. Pool snacks were great too. Hotel is right on the beach front and close enough to local restaurants/shops should you want to explore. We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend!

A great stay with our family & friends

31 May 2025
We visited here as a group of family & friends (13 of us in total) in mid may for 10 days. The hotel itself was lovely - it definitely felt like a 5 star hotel. The rooms were bright, modern and clean. We were in a family room with bunk beds in the main building overlooking the pool, we had a lovely view. The lady who cleaned our room left it spotless every single day. There was 2 tvs in the room with the ability to cast your device to it. The bathroom was large and the shower was lovely and powerful, there was a mood lighting setting with the lights so I enjoyed relaxing in there! The room fridges were lovely and cold, and restocked every other day. I enjoyed the food in the buffet restaurant although I feel as though they need more meat/cheese options at lunch times as I have fussy children who just wanted to eat that sort of thing but it was only really available at breakfast. Also the drinks were not self serve in the buffet restaurant and you could be waiting a while to be approached for a drink. Also at breakfast they really need some spoons next to the cereals as again I had to ask for spoons every morning as there is none easily accessible. I did enjoy the food however, and enjoyed sitting both inside and out. The a’la carte restaurants are outstanding, I was lucky enough to try all 3 of them. The pool areas again were great, there was never any issue to get sun beds altogether and there was a lot of us. The pools were cold; my children bared the heated ones but couldn’t bare to get in the unheated pools. We got great use out of the heated pools however, the small baby pool was a great height for my one year old, and the rectangular pool was the perfect height for my 4 year old. The snack bar by the pool had a great selection with freshly cooked foods, I loved the noodles here. I also appreciated the Pepsi max on tap! All the communal areas were spotlessly clean, you can tell they take great care to keep this place clean and tidy. The toilets and communal areas here really are 5 star too! There was a great selection of ice creams and the lady who serves the ice cream always takes great care into each one she makes, no wonder they are so popular! We did take advantage of both of the TUI kids and baby club and they were great with our children, we always felt they were in safe hands and were signed in and out at each occasion they attended. We used the spa facilities too and all had wonderful treatments, this was one of the highlights of the trip. The swim up bar was a nice amenity for some cocktails by the sea, however the cocktails never seemed that strong so I don’t know how strong the alcohol is here. The water park was very close, however the staff at the water park weren’t as polite as those at the hotel and so we only ever visited here on 2 occasions. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best whilst we were here, mainly because of the wind. It was SO windy that I felt cold most of the time and couldn’t relax as much as I wanted, this obviously isn’t the hotels fault. The evening entertainment was outside though so this meant some chilly evenings and we ended up leaving entertainment early because we were so cold. The entertainment was always very loud too and we could hear it from our room but luckily it didn’t keep our children awake. The kids loved the disco each night and still ask for us to play the songs now back home and dance along to them. The hotel itself did put on charged entertainment each night in the form of a glitter tattoo for 12 euro and bingo for 10 euro each, it’s fair to say that was not popular and maybe if they lowered their prices considerably they would actually get a bit more custom for those activities. The hotel is in a quiet resort, about 20 minute walk to Kolympia, we did walk in a few times especially on very windy days as we didn’t want to sit around the pool cold, and it was nice to get out and have a walk around, it’s a small strip but a nice change of scenery with a few shops and sport bars. There is a shop in the hotel that honestly stocks everything you could need and it’s priced very reasonably. There was also a car hire lady upstairs and we hired a car from her which was really easy and great value, picking up and dropping the car back off at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however we won’t return on the basis that next time we want to visit somewhere in a bit of a livelier resort. The hotel is fantastic though and we have nothing but good memories of our stay here. We would definitely stay in an Atlantica brand hotel again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Failing to be a five star

31 May 2025
It’s a decent 4 star hotel, the rooms are clean, decor is fresh and the staff are helpful but it’s lacking the little touches that make a 5 star experience and keep you coming back time and again. Beach towels can only be changed every two days, breakfast and most dinners are buffet style with a lot of choice but again, the fact that you can only book two visits per week to speciality restaurants make it a 4 star experience. It’s incredibly busy all the time and it feels busy. Loungers were all away before 10am, and again, having to reserve them that early just took the shine off any 5 star experience. The staff are helpful but again lack that ‘go the extra mile’ that you get from leading hotels of the world

Great time

31 May 2025
Just returned from 11 nights AI break from 20th May. This is a very nice resort and we had a great time. Weather a bit windy but mostly were able to eat outside in a pleasant area. The food and drink very good the Al La Carte restaurants were excellant. The minus points were the pools very cold which for babies and young children should have at least one heated one. As a couple we liked the infinity pool area best with fabulous sea view my husband refused to get in as water so cold (safe entry points for disabled) great water bar but could not understand why this is a quiet zone with children allowed. Obviously children aren't quiet (why should they be) but as there are numerous other pools and a water park here why can't there be an adults only area. As a disabled guest the biggest problem was only toilets outside were downstairs with no disabled facilties for pool users. All staff were lovely very kind and helpful everyone of them a credit to the resort.
