We visited here as a group of family & friends (13 of us in total) in mid may for 10 days. The hotel itself was lovely - it definitely felt like a 5 star hotel. The rooms were bright, modern and clean. We were in a family room with bunk beds in the main building overlooking the pool, we had a lovely view. The lady who cleaned our room left it spotless every single day. There was 2 tvs in the room with the ability to cast your device to it. The bathroom was large and the shower was lovely and powerful, there was a mood lighting setting with the lights so I enjoyed relaxing in there! The room fridges were lovely and cold, and restocked every other day. I enjoyed the food in the buffet restaurant although I feel as though they need more meat/cheese options at lunch times as I have fussy children who just wanted to eat that sort of thing but it was only really available at breakfast. Also the drinks were not self serve in the buffet restaurant and you could be waiting a while to be approached for a drink. Also at breakfast they really need some spoons next to the cereals as again I had to ask for spoons every morning as there is none easily accessible. I did enjoy the food however, and enjoyed sitting both inside and out. The a’la carte restaurants are outstanding, I was lucky enough to try all 3 of them. The pool areas again were great, there was never any issue to get sun beds altogether and there was a lot of us. The pools were cold; my children bared the heated ones but couldn’t bare to get in the unheated pools. We got great use out of the heated pools however, the small baby pool was a great height for my one year old, and the rectangular pool was the perfect height for my 4 year old. The snack bar by the pool had a great selection with freshly cooked foods, I loved the noodles here. I also appreciated the Pepsi max on tap! All the communal areas were spotlessly clean, you can tell they take great care to keep this place clean and tidy. The toilets and communal areas here really are 5 star too! There was a great selection of ice creams and the lady who serves the ice cream always takes great care into each one she makes, no wonder they are so popular! We did take advantage of both of the TUI kids and baby club and they were great with our children, we always felt they were in safe hands and were signed in and out at each occasion they attended. We used the spa facilities too and all had wonderful treatments, this was one of the highlights of the trip. The swim up bar was a nice amenity for some cocktails by the sea, however the cocktails never seemed that strong so I don’t know how strong the alcohol is here. The water park was very close, however the staff at the water park weren’t as polite as those at the hotel and so we only ever visited here on 2 occasions. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best whilst we were here, mainly because of the wind. It was SO windy that I felt cold most of the time and couldn’t relax as much as I wanted, this obviously isn’t the hotels fault. The evening entertainment was outside though so this meant some chilly evenings and we ended up leaving entertainment early because we were so cold. The entertainment was always very loud too and we could hear it from our room but luckily it didn’t keep our children awake. The kids loved the disco each night and still ask for us to play the songs now back home and dance along to them. The hotel itself did put on charged entertainment each night in the form of a glitter tattoo for 12 euro and bingo for 10 euro each, it’s fair to say that was not popular and maybe if they lowered their prices considerably they would actually get a bit more custom for those activities. The hotel is in a quiet resort, about 20 minute walk to Kolympia, we did walk in a few times especially on very windy days as we didn’t want to sit around the pool cold, and it was nice to get out and have a walk around, it’s a small strip but a nice change of scenery with a few shops and sport bars. There is a shop in the hotel that honestly stocks everything you could need and it’s priced very reasonably. There was also a car hire lady upstairs and we hired a car from her which was really easy and great value, picking up and dropping the car back off at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however we won’t return on the basis that next time we want to visit somewhere in a bit of a livelier resort. The hotel is fantastic though and we have nothing but good memories of our stay here. We would definitely stay in an Atlantica brand hotel again. Thank you for an amazing stay!
