Atlantica Beach Resort

Just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday with family and friends, who came all the way to Kos to celebrate our wedding. All the wedding coordinators were amazing, from eat communication to when we arrived and had our face to face meetings - Rania, Annsofia, Adriana and the fabulous Marios. The whole day went perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Amazing photographers, who were with us all day. The Greek dancers were fab and the fireworks really topped off the night. We opted to have the reception in Dantes in the end which ended up being a more intimate atmosphere with a brilliant after party, The hotel is lovely, beautiful grounds and our junior suite was perfect for us overlooking the garden and sea. There were 43 of us staying in the hotel and a couple of the party did have some problems with their rooms which took a few days to resolve. The restaurant offers a decent variety of food, I have seen some reviews saying it’s repetitive but you always find something that suits. The staff are really friendly, the bar staff in the lounge bar were great!! Drinks vary depending on who makes them. Also went for a massage, which was amazing so would highly recommend this. Overall, we’ve had the best time at this hotel and would definitely return

The hotel needs more training on allergens. Most food is labelled with allergens, however this is often accurate and cannot be trusted. 1) risotto was labelled dairy free, once put on the plate I discovered feta in the rice. 2) Sprouts were labelled vegan but had bacon in. 3) The snack bar on tbe residence side, the lady used the same tongs for meat, chips and pitta, so the vegetarians within the large group of us were unable to even have chips. The lady serving was very rude and only grunted at any questions. 3) the Greek al a carte restaurant has a separate vegan menu, however when the food came, both the start and main contained feta and whipped feta despite being told I was ordering from the vegan menu. When querying this with the staff they could not understand why it was not vegan friendly. This main was described as beans in a tomato sauce, however came as just white beans in a boiled water broth with no sides.

Excellent massage with Chris. He was very attentive and checked the pressure was suitable throughout the massage. He worked on a few problem areas in my back and the massage needed with a lovely scalp massage. The sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks was really relaxing.

Just returned from this hotel we stayed in residence side with private pool the room and pool was beautiful and i'm so glad i booked that as the residence side is much nicer than the main side , the hotel grounds are beautiful but i didn't like the atmosphere on the main side if they had a buffet at night in residence side i would not have ventured over there at all . the bar staff on main side in bar by restaurant where rude never smiled you just got a grunt from them when they slammed the drink down in front of you all apart from one lovely bar tender called pierre i think his name was . The food at the buffet was lukewarm there was a lot of choice but i found it very poor compared to most hotels i have stayed we did the greek restaurant that was really nice and had a mama Mia feel to it based on having to go to main side to eat at night i wouldn't return to this hotel its a shame because i love the residence side .
