Atlantica Imperial Residences

We stayed here for 11 nights for our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away with it. We had high expectations after reading reviews and the reality was even better. Luxurious building, welcoming atmosphere, lovely smell from the candles, spotlessly clean and the swim up duplex suite itself was stunning. The air con was sublime and the constant upkeep by the staff including the mini fridge and other red carpet perks were just the cherry on top. A different vibe to the main hotel but in a good way. We spent a lot of time af the main site but the residences offer a premium experience with fewer guests, a private bar/pool until 6pm and a quieter relaxing feel. Location wise, it took 2 mins to get to the main site and there is a bus stop to the main island attractions right outside. I must give a shout out to the exceptional Kiki, the best of many top tier members of the team. She was super friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she explained the residences' herb garden they manage for the drinks garnishes and was just an all round superstar. We will make Kiki's potion at home to remember her and this holiday! Orsy is also a wonderful person and recommended certain drinks she thought we would like and seemed more like a friend than someone at work. Nicole and Lou on reception, also fantastic, beaming smiles and very polite and helpful every time we walked in and out of the building. Lastly, being able to have breakfast at blue bay each morning was just brilliant. We felt like true vip's! Maro effortlessly gliding round the room seating and welcoming people was iconic, Vaso super friendly, Lisa always smiling and lovely and of course Kiki being herself talking about the island and places to visit. The food was gorgeous and the eggs benedict was the best I've ever had! Being a same sex couple, we had to google where in the world would be safe to celebrate our honeymoon. We couldn't have felt any safer or more respected and included than we did not just in Greece but in this hotel. We werent the only same sex couple and it was refreshing to be able to just be ourselves and not worry about anything. If you're LGBT reading this, look no further and book this hotel! I will review the main hotel too but we were so happy with our decision to stay in the residences and it definitely contributed to our honeymoon being so amazing!

We visited the SKY BAR most nights. It seems like Enis and Orsy are starting to create something special here. Enis is a fantastic mixologist who meets everyone with a warm smile and what can you say about Orsy! She greets everyone in a friendly and special way. Always smiling, always efficient. She seems to has the ability to make EVERYONE feel special .

I originally booked a deluxe swim up room in the residences but we were kindly upgraded to a duplex room. The room was amazing and we had a fantastic sea view. Our room was on the 3rd floor so our view was spectacular. The room was always cleaned really well. The breakfast in the residences restaurant is much nicer than in a large restaurant. Only problem was the supervisor who is the wrong person in the wrong job!! She has a habit of trying to humiliate staff in front of guests which is totally wrong. The one day she was off when we were there was wonderful!! The bar manager ran the restaurant as it should be run. Calmly, quietly and efficiently without any need to humiliate anyone!! There are plenty of facilities here no matter what you want to do. Our only complaint was the food was much too curry and spicy and very little Greek, Mediterranean which is what you expect! Previously the food has been brilliant this year sadly it was not! Kiki is an amazing member of staff. We knew her from our previous visit and she4 remembered us. She is fantastic both in the restaurant for breakfast and also in the bar in the afternoon. Mary Grace (I think that is correct) was also lovely, in the restaurant. She always had a smile if she saw us. Both members of staff are a credit to the hotel.

We had the most wonderful holiday in this fantastic hotel. We enjoyed the Red Carpet option in the Residences and felt it was definitely worthwhile; in particular the exclusivity of the a la carte restaurant for breakfast and the quiet, luxurious pool area. The staff were fantastic and really made the holiday extra special. Maro, Kiki and Vaso in the Residences were fabulous, friendly and provided faultless service; nothing was too much trouble. We would also highlight Vaso and Rita in the main restaurant for providing warm and top quality service. We would say that the buffet is probably the best we have experienced in our many 'all inclusive' holidays. Lastly, a big thank you to Froso on the reception desk for her kindness and thoughtful help when we needed it. We have two comments by way of constructive feedback. Sometimes the music / entertainment in the Residences bar was too loud to hold a comfortable conversation and secondly, we felt as Red Carpet, all inclusive guests, that being invited to pay an additional charge for some courses at the a la carte restaurants in the evening was disappointing. Notwithstanding the comments above, it is a luxurious hotel with superb staff and we would recommend it unreservedly. We definitely intend to go again!
