First time visiting greece and did not disappoint. We stayed in block 29 and whilst the rooms were not completely “up to date” they were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We weren’t too fussed about what it looked like as long as it was clean. The hotel is very large with multiple rooms, both in the actual hotel and around the grounds. We didn’t go in the pool as the weather wasn't great on some days, but they are both of good size and they also have a children's pool. The bar has some good drinks for all inclusive, and there is more options if you are paying, but we were fine with the options they had. Our favourite was the ‘blue coco’ as it wasn't too sweet and tasted good. Entertainment at night was good, nothing too special, but still something to do. We had a day at the beach which was a short walk from our room, however this was a little disappointing. We had booked for all inclusive so we assumed that would include amenities at the beach as well, considering it is ‘private’. Sun beds are €5 each, day beds €15 (not sure if each or per person) and the beach bar is not included in all inclusive. Drinks range from €8 upwards for cocktails, which we thought was a bit cheeky considering it is on hotel grounds, but is not included in all inclusive. However the beach is nice for a relaxing day, especially if the weather is nice. The food is pretty standard, lots of different types of meets and salad options, and some pastas and chips for some others. Not too bad. Not many sweet options for breakfast, however I did manage to make a full English a couple of times. Staff were excellent, all very nice and friendly, however i'm sure the bar staff got sick of seeing me in the evening😂 but all were very kind and polite. There is a small shop just outside of the hotel where you can buy snacks and drinks, souvenirs and some things you may have forgot to pack. For trips and things to do whilst here, We recommend the 3 islands boat trip which was amazing, Sunset at Zia which is beautiful and gives you chance to eat whilst up in the mountains, and of course venture into Kos town which is a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel. The markets and shops are beautiful, but you will also have to deal with some hagglers. We booked our trips from a store a few minutes down the road from the hotel. If you can, hire a car of bike and travel around the island as that it what I wish we did. Photos are of the hotel and around the island! All in all great stay, beautiful island and would definitely come back again.
