Atlantis

Second time at the Atlantis and again we couldn’t fault it, we upgraded to a seaview again as the view last year was spectacular, emailed the hotel for the same room and we got it, which was wonderful. The staff as so friendly and helpful. Food is so good, even better than last year so much choice! No complaints at all. Drinks improved from last year but still need some decent tonic on tap as it’s just awful. my only complaint as I love a g&t. Booked again for next year and can’t wait! Recommended it to family who 2 lots have been and both really enjoyed their stay also

First day arrival, . . . Reception recognised peanut allergy on the booking - wow, excellent, and such a relief, . . . Resulted in a discussion with one of the head chefs which explained that all dish(s) have allergens signposted above the dish in the restaurant 👍 Seen this, approach in previous holidays, and all good 😎 Then said that on that day it ruled out all of the deserts except fresh fruit, which wasn't great to see all the lovelly looking deserts that looked exceptionally good, but were out of bounds, . . . . Try explaining that to a child, yep - they look great, but you can't have them, . . . . The main restaurant did show all allergens, but when we later visited the pool BBQ / Gryros restaurant, some dishes showed allergens and some did not show allergens, so it was mixed messages and inconsistent, which left us not knowing what was safe to eat and what wasn't . . . Not a big deal for most, but any family, managing severe allergies, it is 😞 The house / local wines were, . . . Yeah a bit on the rough side, and the house / local spirits were noticably weak in taste and alcohol content, plus the soft drinks were very dissapointing, yep - you don't expect named brand quality, but back in the UK, . . . . Iceland, LIDL's and ALDI's would blow these soft drinks away, . . . We had an out of all inclusive (6 euros) mojito at the pool bar, and the service / enthusiasm was fantastic (the drink not so much, but hey ho, . . .) Returned a few hours later, in the evening setting, and the same team member was a bit grumpy and stand offish, to say the least, . . . On the plus side, two good size pools, plus a small children's pool, the grounds are kept in fantastic condition, and there is direct access to the beach, which being on the slightly north east corner, has a lighter sea swell and waves, which makes for good beach quality and less swell, . . . . Beach loungers and cabarna's are additional charges, but reasonable and make for a nice experience on the beach, . . . Our first night, we went to the pool bar for (every night entertainment at 9pm), and by 9.20 it hadn't started and we left, watched from our balcony - didnt see a thing resembling 'entertainment', and it was pretty much deserted by about 10.30, . . . Stayed at a 5 star hotel in Cyprus last year with TUI, and in absolute fairness, this is not a 4 star hotel, when judged by the same standards, . . . At best, it's a 3.5 star hotel, with some really great points, and really great staff, but lack of consistency, and some standards, seriously let's it down, . . . It's the start of our holiday, but I can't see us recommending, or returning too, . . . . Really disappointed, based on the general reviews, . . . . But hey ho, lesson learned, will look elsewhere, next time, . . .

Stayed here for more than one week. Very clean ambiance, helpful and friendly staff. Had a great time with my family

We had our first ever holiday to Kos here and have completely fallen in love with the place. We visited from May 8th - 15th as a couple. All of the staff are so friendly - upon check in we missed dinner and were provided with sandwiches. We stayed in the standard beachfront bungalows - it was great air con and a safe were included. The room was slightly outdated but was super clean and literally seconds away from the hotels beach. It would have been nice to have a double bed rather than two singles pushed together but the beds were comfy. This was our first holiday as all inclusive, however we didn’t use the all inclusive facilities too much (we wanted to try the hundreds of restaurants around!). It seemed there wasn’t too many drink options for all inclusive, and the drinks were budget (E.g not real coca - cola unless you paid extra) however this was completely understandable due to the price we paid to stay - it is just worth noting in case you have a fussy child etc. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous with so much choice. Dinner is your standard hotel buffet options but the desserts were amazing and flavourful, not like other hotel desserts. We had a small issue with the drain in our bathroom but upon telling reception this was dealt with within an hour The location is great, there is a small supermarket/ convenience store right outside the hotel grounds. The hotel is in a quiet area but only about a 15/20 minute stroll into Kos Town, with shops and restaurants to stop in along the way. All of the staff work extremely hard, there is also some resident cats who seem happy and looked after. We have already booked again to come back in September, and can’t wait to return ❤️

Our friend group absolutely loved Derrick. He was so nice, throughout our whole stay, and he wanted nothing from us. A really amazing guy easy to love!! He truly wants the best for the people in Atlantis hotel and is very sincere!! We want the best For this guy, and this is the least we can do!!!
