Relaxing stay, surrounded by beautiful people and scenery.

Spent 12 days here in Krabi. Had the best time ever. Had a cooking class with chef Thaiger, awesome food made simply with love and fun. Special shout out to Aeke, he went out of his way on a daily basis, made us comfortable and happy 😊. Will be back and hopefully see the same smiling faces. Thanks 🙏🏼

I stayed at Avani Ao Nang for three nights, from August 5th to 8th. On the first day, I couldn’t check in right away because I arrived earlier than the official check-in time, so I decided to try the hotel spa. The spa staff were very kind and gave great advice. They also offered a variety of promotions, which convinced me to get a massage there every day during my stay. When I checked in, the reception staff were all very helpful and friendly, always smiling even though they seemed quite busy. The breakfast at Avani Ao Nang had a good variety of options, typical of Avani standards. During my stay, I especially enjoyed the spa the most. The room itself was quite spacious with a nice atmosphere, although there were a few cleanliness issues—some dust clumps were visible because the housekeeping hadn’t swept thoroughly, and the room had a slight odor. However, when I reported this to reception, they quickly addressed the problem, which I appreciated a lot. I want to commend all the staff for their excellent assistance. On my last night, I went to the bar on the 6th floor near closing time. The atmosphere was quite quiet, and during that time, a staff member named Bird came over to talk to me. That was very nice, especially since I was traveling alone and didn’t have many chances to socialize. This made my stay very memorable.

Great location, that’s it! Don’t expect the renowned Thai hospitality

The Avani cliff in Krabi is fabulously located. But that’s it. The staff aren’t helpful at all. Maybe they’re over worked. Or worse, not trained enough. Through the two days we were here there was constant repair in the room adjacent to us. The entire floor was disturbed. The housekeeping entered without intimation. And we found a bee in our breakfast. Now you may think these occurrences were isolated events and I agree but to make up for this all the hotel suggested a dinner at the same restaurant we found infested with bees, however when we told them we’d be flying out and cannot make it they suggested two cocktails. Additionally we were suggested to eat breakfast at coffee club, a very cool cafe next door to the hotel where we paid 1012tbh for a meal and only requested for the differential tariff for breakfast to be refunded to us. Every hotel has someone waking up to a bad experience. It’s the manner they deal with this that takes precedence. The Avani unfortunately isn’t a hotel that meets global standards or the renowned Thai hospitality. Stay there, don’t opt for breakfast. Don’t expect much.

Really nice hotel! We spent 4 nights here in a Panorama room next to the infinity pool. Loved the location and the pool. Breakfast was great everyday, liked the variety and freshness of the fruit. Staff went out of their way to make it a great morning everyday. Specifically, Toffy went above and beyond and Pine and Margie were an absolute delight. Thanks to the superior guest experience provided by these lovely individuals we will forgo trying a new hotel upon our return to Ao Nang and will absolutely be staying here at Avani again in the future. Thanks again for everything you did to make our stay so memorable!
