Excellent entry level 5 star from Minor Hotels. 35 mins sea plane ride from Male. New hotel and very fresh. Has a good pool by the beach. Excellent food in all the restaurants. Not just the specialty restaurants even the buffet had really good food. Good house reef. Great staff overall- just some of the people who I remember and who went out of their way to be helpful- Kori, Preeti , Chandan at SkipJack, The butler Mannu, Natasha at Charcoal, Roshini at breakfast. Thank you for a great trip.

Wonderful Stay at Avani+ Fares Maldives!

We had an amazing time at Avani+ Fares Maldives! The resort is very clean, beautifully maintained, and the beach is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear water and soft white sand. What really made our stay special was the staff, especially Ali. He was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our trip. He even added me on WhatsApp and responded to all my questions very quickly, which made everything so convenient. We truly appreciate the service and hospitality provided by Minor Hotel Group. We will definitely choose Minor Hotel Group again for our next vacation!

Avani, excellent experience with some room for improvement

Amazing resort with excellent service from all staff on the resort and the accommodation was of a high standard with rooms serviced to a high level everyday. Excellent snorkeling experiences with an abundance of marine life on the house reef. The food is expensive for the amount you are served although the restaurants on the island offer excellent standards of food, especially in the main restaurant The Ocean Terrace. The water sports and diving offerings are amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly. Although once again, I think the activities are too expensive for the amount of time the activity takes. All in all, a first class experience, the island and the surrounding waters are stunning. If Avani can work on increasing the number of restaurants (plus an indoor bar), a vegetarian restaurant and may be an Indian restaurant, this would definitely improve the overall experience at this price point. The indoor games room was very well maintained and I know was appreciated by many guests. The indoor gym is also very good.

Incredible vacation.

Avani Fares Maldives was an absolute delight. The island is in great shape, clean, walkable and the housing is luxurious and tasteful. Staff is amazing. Everybody is incredibly friendly and well organized. Communication is done via WhatsApp with your contact person. The restaurants and food are clean and delicious. The baa atoll provides incredible diving and snorkelling experiences. The dice Center of Avani is amazing! Incredible offers and lovely staff! Carmen and her crew have given us a trip that we won’t forget!
