Bahiazul Villas & Club Fuerteventura

We are currently here on a weeks holiday. We came two years ago and it was perfect. My partner thought that as a surprise for my big birthday, he would book here again. We arrived on Saturday evening and woke on Sunday to a beautiful blue sky, very warm and tranquil. So quiet you could hear a pin drop-perfect. Monday morning we were woken by drilling in the next villa. Extensive work was being carried out but we hadn’t been informed of this prior to arriving. Again, this morning, we were woken by drilling at 08:05. Not really the time we would like to wake up on holiday, especially having a stressful job and waking early every day at home. We spoke with the lady on reception who was very empathetic, then another receptionist intervened and said that the builders were supposed to be finished. We asked if we could move, we were advised we couldn’t as it’s very busy. We have been advised that we will get updated on the current situation. We are currently sat in the pool area, listening to the dulcet tones of, yes you guessed it-drilling!!!!!! I guess my biggest concern is that the staff must have known this before taking our money but yet still did! Such a disappointment.

We stayed in Bahia Azul last May and the hotel was great. The villa with private swimming pool is beautiful. On the top of the willa you have a jacuzzi and beach loungers. It' s a big and nice rooftop space. The villa inside had all the amenities you need. It was impresive! The restaurant was also very good. The service and food. Thanks to all staff.

The villa is spacious and comfortable. We loved the fact each bedroom had its own bathroom, especially as two of the bedrooms aren’t actually in the house. Having said that, they’re only just outside the lounge area, a few steps away and have immediate access to the pool. Pool is lovely, but you do have to swim in semi-circles around a palm tree! Pool and villa were cleaned once during our stay and all visiting staff were polite and respectful. We also loved the upstairs area with jacuzzi, day bed and table with a canopy over it. This provided a welcome bit of dappled shade when there was full sun. The sunbeds upstairs could do with an upgrade but ones by the pool were comfortable. The kitchen is a little tight and you could probably do with a few extra plates, glasses etc for when the dishwasher is on. There is a safe in the main bedroom, tv in two bedrooms and washing machine upstairs. The complex has a nice restaurant which we used first day after an early flight. The whole area is immaculate and clean. Thanks as well to the gate staff who helped us with taxis into Correlejo, as there’s no Uber. Great choice of shops there and old town full of restaurants and bars, the music square in the centre is great fun too. Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets just down the road for all your supplies.

The food is terrible, it’s like a workers canteen, We struggled to find anything worth eating. The cleaning staff especially the pool cleaners are horrible vile people, they just don’t want you to be there and hate tourists. They’re like a little gang and hang around in groups that like to intimidate people. There’s constant maintenance going on, the villa next to us was having a major renovation which was noisy all day! The TV was faulty and had to be constantly turned on and off to it to work. I would avoid this place as it’s truly awful!

From the private heated pool to the great half board options, Bahiazul Villas made our family holiday easy and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel truly welcome. We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Bahiazul Villas, and from start to finish, it was perfect for our family. The premier 3 bedroom garden Villa was clean, spacious, and wonderfully quiet — perfect for our group of five. It had three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite, which made things so much easier for a family group. The private heated pool was a real highlight, especially for relaxing after a day out. The service from the staff was exceptional — always friendly and helpful. As a returning customer, I we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, which was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel appreciated. The villa and pool were cleaned midweek, and the housekeeping staff were brilliant — friendly, efficient, and respectful of our space. All the little amenities were thoughtfully provided, including dishwasher tablets and laundry pods, making things easier, convenient and hassle-free. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the afternoons with a BBQ — a perfect way to unwind as a family. We stayed half board, and the breakfast and dinner options were plentiful with something to enjoy for the whole family. The food at the resort’s restaurant was great and suited all ages, making it easy to enjoy relaxed meals without leaving the villa every day. For evenings out, the nearby town offered plenty of dining choices. The taxi to town was just €6 each way, which was very reasonable. On our last afternoon, we enjoyed a lovely beach visit while waiting for our late transport — a perfect way to end the trip. Overall, Bahiazul Villas offered everything our family needed for a relaxing and memorable holiday — we’ll definitely be returning!
