Strategically located in a peaceful village of South Kuta, this hotel is situated within walking distance to the beach as well as shopping mall, restaurants and tourist attractions. Reminds me I’m in Bali

I gave this 5 stars not be it’s perfect but because it made me feel like I was in Bali. The staff were wonderful, friendly, polite and helpful. The massage I had at the spa was one of the best I’ve had in Bali, the pool was inviting, at one point I had the whole thing to myself (probably being low season). Breakfast was good with both western and Asian selection. The room was clean and comfortable and the air con worked a little too well, I think it’s the first time I’ve had an air con in Bali on the lowest setting. Anyway, all in all I really enjoyed my stay here.

Fabulous charming and authentic hotel

We have just had an amazing stay at the Bali Rani hotel in Kuta. The hotel staff are fabulous... From check in to check out, the staff could not do enough to make your stay as comfortable and satisfying as possible... We were upgraded in room which was a lovely surprise. Everyone worked so hard and we're so friendly and charming. The hotel was on a busy street in Kuta, but as soon as you entered the lobby, and courtyard, the authentic sounds of music and water immersed and you felt a million miles away from the bussle of the street. The rooms were clean and the hotel spotless. Our bed was hard,however a topper was provided and pillows changed, no trouble at all. The restaurant and bar were very reasonably priced and had some delicious authentic Indonesian food. The pool area was so quiet and relaxing, and we had an amazing couples shared spa experience which was amazing value. We could not fault anything. Thankyou to all the staff, we will miss this place. Kuta, was an ideal place to base yourself and we had numerous days trips with private drivers to Ubud, ulawatu, Nusa Dua, Nusa penida, pandawa beach, Gwk culture park. Thankyou all

Ruined due to bad service of hotel spa

Stayed here with my family for 5 days. The good - The hotel was presentable and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The bad- avoid the overpriced spa, terrible service. I booked a 2.5 or treatment, the spa attendant kept disappearing for prolonged periods, answering phone calls etc. My package was meant to include a foot scrub, this didn't happen, only a quick rinse of my feet which is charged as a foot scrub, i had asked for a body scrub and mask, there was no scrub and both products were applied at the same time, no wipe down inbetween. I don't think the attendant knew what she was doing. Terrible terrible experience , not relaxing , not worth the overpriced charges. Also spotted rats running around the pool area.

Hotel is old and could do with a freshen up. Pool is nice and food good. Kuta is very busy and noisy beach dirty and would not go back. Staff at the hotel are so nice and helpful Guy outside hotel says he is a taxi driver Burs cars he is not. He is a tout and an absolute pain gave him a chance and wanted 100 euros for an afternoon! Avoid him h would not leave us alone .not the hotels fault as he is just outside but wanted to warn others staying not to engage. Water ark two minutes walk is a good day out.
