Bali Tropic Resort & Spa

We had a very disappointing experience at Bali Tropic Resort. The property is in a deteriorating state — walls have visible seepage, plaster is falling off, and the entire resort feels neglected. The rooms, though spacious, are extremely outdated and lack basic essentials. The washroom had no door, just an open archway, and the toilet door didn’t shut properly — it was a slotted panel that offered zero privacy. Lighting in the room was a nightmare, with bulbs flickering violently (would have attached a video but the portal only allows pictures). We ordered food once and never again — the sandwich served had chicken bones in it, which was unacceptable. The staff was unfortunately uncourteous and insensitive to our concerns, making the stay even more unpleasant. The only positive is the location, which is great — surrounded by nice restaurants, spas, and convenience stores within walking distance. The resort also is on the beach and has a decent breakfast buffet. This resort might have been grand once, but now it seriously lacks both maintenance and customer service. Would not recommend.

3rd time going to Bali Tropic, a great location, large rooms and the staff are nothing but friendly and accommodating at all times. As much as we traveled as a couple over the Easter week, the hotel did some nice touches for the younger families and their kids, great to see. Looking forward to going back a 4th time!

Very welcoming staff and beautiful hotel by the beachside. Good entertainment provided. Supermarket right in front of the hotel and a couple of restaurants nearby (not much more than that, around the area). The bedrooms are simply gorgeous and the gardens stunning. Kids playground/activities could be improved.

I’m very happy that I chose this hotel. The location was excellent, and the layout of the hotel was very convenient. Everything was thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional. I had no issues during my stay, but I’m confident that if I had, the staff would have done their best to resolve them. The birthday cake left at our door for my spouse was such a lovely surprise. If I ever return to Bali, I won’t look for another hotel — I’ll book this one again without hesitation.

The service and staff were amazing! Food very good but sometimes lacked variety on some days. Cancelled beach dinner and entertainment due to weather Our booking agent promoted daily bottled water provided however, we were told by reception the only water provided was in water dispensers on some of floors. We spent a lot of money across the road at the convenience store which is VERY expensive for water! Not much to do locally (walking distance) Beach quality was disappointing which I am sure was due to monsoon weather which I would not recommend. We would not travel at this time of year again to Bali. Overall a lovely resort experience.
