Banyan Tree Krabi

We had such a lovely and relaxing time at the hotel spa today. The atmosphere was calm, beautiful, and really helped us unwind right away. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable throughout. The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and exactly what we needed for a day off. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and very happy. Definitely a great way to spend a relaxing day—highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, to the spectacular view, we knew we were in for a special experience. The setting, the facilities, the staff and all the extras combine to create an intimate, personalised holiday that anticipated most of our needs, and quickly catered to the others. Staff knew all of our names from the moment we arrived, and routinely but subtly checked in on us throughout to ensure our stay was perfect. The WhatsApp concierge team were responsive and well-connected to all other teams. After cutting my foot on coral during a boat trip to the islands and asking for a first aid kit the next morning to ensure it was properly cleaned, it was swiftly delivered to the room (with an offer of cleaning the wound). Not only that, staff who then greeted us at breakfast were already aware and asking if I was ok and if there was anything they could do to help. Our suite was spacious and well-provisioned. The wrap around pool and outdoor jacuzzi was a nice touch, though we were so close to the pool and spa we didn’t end up using it. The breakfast catered to various tastes and needs, from the fresh juice bar to the egg station, western pastries and salads to Asian dishes. All of high quality. The coconuts, cold brew coffee and DIY Bloody Mary and Mimosa station was also great. We also dined at the bird’s nest restaurant, with unmissable views — highly recommended. If I had a couple of (small) suggestions on improvements — the gym is a decent size given the hotel capacity, but could have benefited from more machines. The cable frame is versatile, but no replacement for more machines for leg extensions, rows, and a squat rack. The dumbbells would have been great to run up to 30-35kg too, but appreciate that’s expecting a lot from a hotel gym. Secondly — drinks from the pool bar were served quickly, and the service from the team was always fast, but food orders take much too long. We found orders for even simple items like a kids burger and chips took 45-50 minutes. Great to know it’s freshly prepared (though it’s expected), but a hungry toddler can’t be so patient. Besides these our stay was flawless and we’re already planning our return.

Rarely do I feel compelled to write a review, but having just returned from an exceptional stay at Banyan Tree Krabi, I felt it was only right to share our experience. Having been fortunate enough to stay in many amazing hotels around the world, this one quite simply stands in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived at the breathtaking lobby, we were welcomed by Jayda, our host throughout the stay. Jayda provided a level of personalised service that was both seamless and intuitive - always present when needed, yet never intrusive. Our villa (D203) was perfectly positioned, offering complete privacy alongside truly spectacular views. What distinguishes this property most is its people. The service is, without exception, world-class. Every member of staff delivers hospitality with sincerity, kindness and attention to detail. There is a rare sense that nothing is overlooked — preferences are remembered, needs anticipated, and every interaction feels genuinely personal. During our stay, our daughter was unfortunately stung by a jellyfish while on a boat excursion. When mentioned in passing the team promptly sent vinegar to our villa to ease the sting and the following morning multiple team members thoughtfully enquired after her wellbeing. The culinary offering is equally impressive. Across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the quality, variety, and presentation are consistently exceptional. A special mention must go to Ton at the beach bar, whose warmth and attentiveness elevated our time there even further. Her kindness towards our daughter left a lasting impression, and she is a true asset to the resort. The beachfront setting is simply exquisite — powder-soft sand, crystal-clear waters, and an atmosphere of serene exclusivity. We also attended the BBQ evening, complete with live music and a fire show, which was beautifully executed and provided a memorable experience. Will we return? Without hesitation.
