Fantastic resort with very Amazing villas with private pool and panorama view at the sea and the villas have full privacy and comfort bed and jacuzzi, also have sandy private beach which provide good good experience for swimming and water activities .

We had an unforgettable stay at this dream hotel. The staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional. Every detail was perfect – from the elegant rooms to the outstanding service. We truly felt welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended!

Koh Samui lives up to its reputation and ranking. Banyan Tree Samui is a must-visit stay. The resort was beautiful. Special call out and appreciation to the staff- everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating to our questions and needs. Special thanks to Anna our resort host and Jate our kayaking guide. They both made our stay memorable. Remember to ask for Jate for outdoor activities, sea like at Kohl’s Samui and fun conversation.

Banyan Tree Samui is the perfect resort for a relaxing holiday. The villas are spread over a large area; we enjoyed walking to the beach/ restaurants and we never had any trouble finding a buggy to drive us when we wanted to. Our villa (C01) was very comfortable, felt private, surrounded by lush vegetation. Our private pool was refreshing and good size. The resorts’ private beach is a big advantage. It is beautiful, located in a private bay (with no other hotels/ resorts in sight), it is clean and quiet. The sand is not soft; however, you can get snorkeling shoes from the water sports center located on the beach. Our villa host was very attentive and provided excellent service, as all the staff we met during our stay. I warmly recommend this resort for a wonderful holiday in Koh Samui.

I researched the Banyan Tree because we were spending a lot of money for our annual holiday and everyone seems to really like this hotel. There are a lot of nice features but for me not a 5 star experience. Our room was nice but the outdoor sun beds and bean bags were very damp and musty, I would not sit on them. The restaurants that we paid for were nice enough, but we visited a hotel which we had to get a taxi too and the food was much nicer. For me it was the breakfast that I did not like at all, the choice is very wide with lots to choose from, however we had to wait for our table to be cleaned and to me it had the feel of a motorway service canteen. So much hustle and bustle it was not a peaceful experience, which I usually really enjoy on holiday because at home we are always rushing with just coffee and toast then to work, so I usually look forward to my holiday breakfast. Also there was a large family with small children and the child was running around the restaurant area in just a nappy, then even the nappy was removed. You help yourself to juice and sparkling wine and the wait staff bring coffee, tea and water we asked the waiter "Bestie" for a water and my husband asked if he could also have another juice while he was fetching my water, he was told no, you get your own. Which is fine however the juice was right next to the water that he was bringing to our table anyway. There are a lot of nice things about this hotel, but I would not return due to the reasons listed above.
