This is not a 4* hotel. Location is very good being close to beach, shops, bars & restaurants with lots of choice. Breakfast choice is good but hot items not always hot. Dinner food choice is hit & miss but the biggest issue is that food is lukewarm warm at best and some items are not replenished when ran out. The B-Lounge was very nice with early evening singers and the staff very good. Had to frequently queue to get into restaurant for dinner at 8pm. Tables were available outside on the terrace but due to cold weather, no one wanted to use them. The staff were very helpful. We had a Deluxe Sea View Room and yes you can clearly see the sea but you also see a playground, shops & bars as the rooms this side sit above them. We didn’t experience much noise at night but can imagine it might be a problem in high season. The room was ok but ‘tired’ and in need of some refreshing & repairs. The balcony was adequate although small and in need of a good clean/freshen up. The design is very weird with the sink being in the middle of the room! There were issues with no hot water from the sink tap but shower was fine. Hot water tap in the sink did not get hot. Wardrobe space good but with a shelf underneath the rail, you can’t hang longer items. Drawers are very limited and small. Bed is good size and comfortable. Pool furniture is comfortable but tables are not cleaned. WiFi is free but unsecure and might explain why my credit card got scammed on day 2! Asked if I could join another WiFi and told no. Ironically they had a different WiFi replaced the next day albeit weak security. Have to pay €3 per day to use the safe in your room, we’ve never had to do this at other hotels, maybe just a refundable deposit. Cleaning of the room is ok although crockery is not replaced, just rinsed out if they’re checked! A couple of occasions, cups still had left over coffee in them. Bedding wasn’t changed in 9 nights we were here. Fresh towels provided daily. I used the spa once for a massage treatment which was amazing!
