As we stepped off the boat the tiredness we had felt just a half hour ago almost completely disappeared. We had arrived, Paradise. Friendly faces greated us and a nice cool drink placed into our hands. Check in fast and efficient but of course it was the sign of things to come as it was our beautiful Host and Butler for the next 10 days, Shinta. Always available but never in your face Shinta is every bit the professional and an asset to Baros. Our first 5 days were in a beach villa, very comfortable bed, beautiful outside bathroom and 2 steps down to the white sandy beach. Second 5 days in the Water Bungalow, Amazing decor, Amazing views and 3 steps down into the Azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean. We ate in the Lime restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food was fantastic, great choices to suit everyone. A special mention for two of the many people who work there Keeth and Seline were exceptionally friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Sails bar was a great place for lunch during the day and having a few drinks in the evening. As two couples that have travelled a lot in the last 25 years, we have all said that it was possibly the best holiday we have had and we are already thinking about our return trip.

A memorable 25th Anniversary

Where to begin? we were welcomed right after we got our luggage at the airport, and the Baros staff never lost sight of us until we checked our bags back at at the airport five days later. Service was beyond our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised multiple times by their attention to detail, their genuine care and their desire to make our stay as memorable as possible. But service wasn't the only thing, the quality of food was stellar - and this coming from someone used to Michelin-rated establishments. All that you expects from such caliber establishments you will find here. One thing we truly enjoyed were the dinners by the beach, the first time, literally a few steps from the water, the second was our dinner at the Lighthouse - their french restaurante, where we watched the rise of the full moon and we were seated on the platform/balcony above the water seeing small fish and a couple of small sharks underneath us. We are very thankful to have found Baros, it was our first time there for our 25th anniversary. The rooms we superb, comfortable, cozy and with great views and access to the turquoise water. We could have spent our whole stay in our room, but we had to enjoy the beach, snorkeling and drinks at the bar. Overall, a memorable stay that we will cherish for our lifetimes. Thank you!

Baros, i wanted to visit Baros and finally i got the chance to spend my birthday in paradise. It just 25 min by speedboat. The resort is celebrating thier 52 years of service with all the green lushes trees and a wonderful service. The service from restaurant to SPA was amazing. The Elemis product which they us at SPA is one of my favorite. Thank you to Arta & Din spa therapist. The main bar where you can enjoy the drinks, and be under the palm tree garden enjoy the light lunch. Spend your day under the lashes of green palm tree enjoying the veiw of blue sky and calm blue sea & perfect service by Rishi & Sujan💙. Baros Boutique where you can get all the gift & Sovinear to your loved ones. I really like the collections, carry away some memories to keep with you and share to your friends & family. Lastly i would like to thanks to our Butler Sujata, who made our stay memorable with her professional service & friendly nature ❤️ 😍 Also would like to thank Front Office manger Naseem for his service. We had a fantastic stay at Baros for 7 nights. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive. The food was excellent and the resort is beautiful. Our butler, Shinta, was extremely attentive and helpful. She helped us book activities, kept us abreast of daily happenings throughout the resort, and coordinated anything we needed or asked about throughout the stay. She was fantastic! We really enjoyed the guided house reef snorkeling tour excursion and our guide from the Marine Center was great! Super informative, nice, and took great pictures for us during the tour. I am a new diver and went on multiple guided dives throughout my week at Baros. Ruben was my guide/instructor and he was absolutely excellent!! I learned how to improve my trim and buoyancy. We went on both house reef shore and boat dives to local site. I saw a ton of different marine life and felt very safe throughout my dives. My whole dive experience at Baros was stellar! Big thanks to Ruben and the Marine Center staff for this!! Overall, I highly recommend Baros. Def plan to stay here again on my next retire trip to the Maldives!
