My partner and I just got back from Baros and honestly, coming home has never felt harder. From start to finish, this stay was faultless. Our room was wonderful, and stepping out on to the beach each morning felt like walking into paradise. The food was excellent throughout, with variety and quality that never dipped. From the moment we arrived on the island to the moment we left, we felt a degree of peace and relaxation that neither of us have ever experienced before. What truly made this trip exceptional was the Baros team. Their warmth and generosity of spirit turned a beautiful holiday into something unforgettable. Every interaction, big or small, felt genuine and caring, and it's rare to find service that makes you feel so looked after. The amazing housekeeping team, who operate with extraordinary discipline and discretion, kept the room in immaculate condition each day. Our butler Saeed was thoughtful, personable, and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Other members of the team I would like to recognise for their exceptional service and hospitality are: Shimla, Pitria, Richie, Niyaaz, Ali Rasheed, Maria, Shah, Hood, and San (there are many more who's names I have rudely forgotten). We are already counting down until we can return. If you're considering Baros, stop wondering and book it. This is a true trip of a lifetime.

Perfect 10 Honeymoon

My husband and I chose Baros for our honeymoon, as we’d read that the house reef is one of the healthiest in the Maldives, offering excellent snorkel opportunities near the resort. We had no idea though how excellent our experience would be though, and it far exceeded our expectations. The snorkeling was indeed amazing, as you could swim right off your villa into the reef, which is teeming with all manner of marine life. This includes a community of critically endangered turtles that permanently reside on the house reef. The diversity of marine life was incredible. Then the hospitality of the team was first rate. We were personally cared for by Salini, who was an excellent high-quality and premiere butler, from the moment we stepped off the boat throughout the entire day every day of our stay. She added so many little touches to our honeymoon that elevated the experience tremendously, from organizing activities and reservations to planning multiple surprises for us. We were so appreciative of her assistance and would definitely request her when we return. The rest of the team was also very friendly and attentive, and when combined with the nature, the beautiful well-maintained island, and the perfectly laid our comfortable villas, it made for a trip that was truly unforgettable. My husband and I travel often and we were actually stunned by how positive an experience we had. Definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I went to Baros for our first ever holiday together. Having never been to the Maldives before we had no idea what to expect. From the moment we were picked up at the airport everything was taken care of. We were so impressed by the kind and attentive level of service. The resort itself is incredibly beautiful, photos can’t do it justice. Our villa was immaculate and the food is outstanding. But what has made us want to rebook another trip the moment we got home is the people we met who work at Baros and really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Firstly, our butler Saeed who was effortlessly kind, attentive and took care of all our reservations. The teams in both restaurants and bar made such a big impact on us. At Lime restaurant we are so grateful to Shimla and Pitria who really stood out with their kindness and energy. And at sails bar Maria and Richie were amazing. The service across the board is outstanding and it’s clear that management does a great job at keeping standards exceptionally high across the whole resort. We are so grateful to everyone we met and cannot wait to come back next year.

Wonderful experience

We had a great experience at the hotel. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The house reef and beach were astonishing. The amenities, food options and activities were excellent. But it is really the staff, and especially our butler Salini, who made our stay unforgettable, always being really welcoming and accommodating. I can only recommend Baros as a great destination in the Maldives.
