Beautiful 5* hotel in every way

The Barut Hemera is definitely a 5* Luxe hotel in every way. All the staff are so friendly and efficient in every area. Food and drink selection is brilliant. The Kumsal beach bar restaurant was our favourite as the food us cooked to order and was always excellent as are the staff. The restaurant and bar manager Joakim was so professional and was constantly visible all day and during the evening making sure everything was running smoothly The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas and staff were cleaning constantly. The gardens were really well kept as was the pool area. Vural in guest relations was really friendly and helpful The staff were constantly asking if we needed more drinks ir coffee and we never had to ask for refills. We loved everything about this hotel and can definitely recommend it

Another amazing stay

This was our 4th trip in a row this time of year to the magnificent Barut Hemera. This is quite simply the best hotel and deserves all of the plaudits you will see on trip advisor. The experience is great from start to finish. The moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. Taken straight to the Lobby bar where you're provided a drink of your choice while signing in and assigned your room. Due to coming slightly earlier this year, some of the a la carte restaurants were not open however they do open in the next couple of weeks. The choice however was still vast. We tried the fish a la cart restaurant and the Akdeniz restaurant. Unbelievable. Make sure you book in via guest relations to your a la carte options when you arrive. The coffee shop was superb. Special thanks to Asli and Yigit whose customer service was excellent. Yigit remembered our coffee order every day and is a credit to the hotel. There is a lovely lunch menu at the bar towards the beach. Arif is our good friend who was happy to see us and worked so hard to make sure we were looked after. Ozge works in the lobby bar. She is also an amazing worker. She remembers our orders and always works at a great speed to make sure everyone has their drinks no matter how busy it is. So lovely to see her again. To say we keep returning here shows exactly the standard that this hotel offers. We will return again and look forward to doing so. The best place. Seb

I would give six stars if I could!

We stayed at the Barut Hemera for 4 nights. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome from the reception team. We were then shown to the lobby bar where we were served a drink and they came over to us with the key and check in paperwork. When we were ready, we were shown to our room along with someone to take our bags. The room was a Superior Land View and it was absolutely lovely. Clean and modern with so many little touches: a complimentary bottle of wine and some fruit, a stocked mini bar with soft drinks, Nespresso coffee and pods and a complimentary glass individual drinking bottle. The hotel doesn't use plastic bottles for water, only purified water in glass which was a lovely touch. We also got a complimentary tote bag with the hotel's beach towels inside, and it was so perfect for using on the beach and by the pool, we bought another one from reception (for around £4.50). The food in the restaurants is absolutely delicious. There is so much choice and it is all so fresh and tasty. The service throughout the food and beverage places is excellent too. In particular, Iren (from the Hemera Bar) was so warm and so friendly. She really made us feel special! Our one included special meal at Akdeniz was great, but the buffet in Hemera Restaurant was equally as good. The beach bar serves great lunch time food too. Patisserie items are lovely and so much choice, the coffee is good..... there really are no negatives where food and beverage is concerned. Alcoholic beverages are all premium and these guys know how to mix a cocktail! The pool area is relaxing and inviting and the beach bar area is chilled. It is located on the seafront boardwalk which takes you on foot into Side old town within 30 mins at a decent pace. We met a lady in the old town whilst having a drink and, after chatting for a bit, she revealed she was on her 5th visit to Barut Hemera and each time she returned, the same staff made a fuss of her each year. I would agree in that the staff really are helpful, warm and attentive. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained and landscaping is the focus here. Very beautiful. A small selection of shops, a cinema room, an outdoor bar by the pool, a spa with complimentary sauna and steam room and an indoor pool for relaxing.... we couldn't have asked for any more. The area around the hotel and the old town of Side was very quiet, like a ghost town, but this is due to the time of year. Otherwise the location is great for walking and exploring, and the beachfront walk to the old town was beautiful. The only thing we experienced that was less than perfect was a situation with the air conditioning in our room. We experienced a few issues during our stay - from it being too warm, to not working at all... but each time we reported it, the staff sorted things out straight away. It really is a wonderful hotel, so it didn't affect our stay at all. I expected a lot from Barut Hemera based on the excellent reviews, and I have to say it is one of the best All Inclusive resorts I have stayed in anywhere (and I am cabin crew and have been flying for over 25 years). Will ABSOLUTELY be returning to this resort.

Best Hotel Ever!!

Best holiday ever. This is second time we have visited and it only gets better. The Hotel is spotless, the staff are the best so friendly and helpful such an asset to the Hotel. Food very varied and plentiful. There is nothing negative to say about such a great place. Big thank you to Vural in Guest Relations he could not do enough to make our holiday perfect and also to Yijit in the coffee shop who went out of his way to help especially with my husbands Turkish (not an easy task). We both love this Hotel and hope to return again in February next year to meet up with old friends and hopefully some new ones.
