Official Description

On the coral hill, the hotel is located on Nusa Lembongan Island to the south-east of Bali. The hotel is accessible from Bali's eastern coast (about 12 km away) and is just a one-hour boat ride from Sanur Beach. This club resort offers a view across the Badung Strait to the eastern coastline of Bali and the magnificent silhouette of Mount Agung. It provides luxurious villas, and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. It is an ideal holiday retreat in a tropical paradise. It offers a bar, restaurant, conference facilities and a laundry services. Mountain bikes are also available to hire. The rooms are decorated in traditional Balinese style, with stylish wooden furniture, soft beds (doubles), sofas with cushions, lamp shades and nice wall hangings. All the 23 rooms have an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, individually-adjustable air conditioning, a safe deposit box, direct dial telephone, Internet access and a CD player. The best hotel and restaurant in Nusa Lembongan.

Every time we travel to Nusa Lembongan we stay at Batu Karang Resort. It is by far the best resort on the island. The views are spectacular, the rooms are beautifully appointed, well maintained and clean. They have three swimming pools, one overlooking the ocean and Mount Agung, a lap pool, gym and ice bath. The staff are friendly and professional. The food and menu in their restaurant Muntigs is world class. So good that we ate every meal here after having previously been disappointed at other restaurants on the island. The spa treatments are beautiful, I highly recommend the facial with natural ingredients. I can’t recommend Batu Karang Resort and Spa and Muntigs Restaurant enough!

What a lovely resort ! We stayed for 2 nights in March with friends & all thoroughly enjoyed our stay , We stayed in the two bedroom villa with pool , very clean & nice views . The food here is absolutely amazing & every meal was some of the best food we have ever eaten , Hats off to the chefs 👌🏼 All the staff were very nice & friendly too .

What a wonderful stay

The property is immaculately maintained, and the room is spacious, offering stunning views of both the sea and Mount Agung. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner during our 2-night, 3-day stay, and were consistently impressed. Muntig truly lives up to its reputation as one of the finest on the island, offering a delightful blend of local and international cuisines with a unique twist. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, always eager to ensure their guests had the best experience, with no request being too much trouble. We will definitely return if we visit the island again. To all the staff, thank you for making our holiday so memorable and special.

No Gym but beautiful

We came for 2 nights to see the island and choose this hotel based on a few criteria One being , they have a fitness centre. This is advertised on booking.com , sadly when we arrived they actually do not have a gym or fitness centre. So please be aware ! The staff are great and the service solid although if you want a Coke Zero or sparkling water they don’t stock it which is I guess island life. It’s a stunning spot and clean and overall I would stay but when you choose something and they don’t have it clearly you will be disappointed.

OVER PRICED & TIME FOR SOME TLC

My Wife and I were booked to stay 6 nights. We left after 2. The positives - Great Location/Views, probably as good as anywhere on the island. Staff Lovely, Grounds etc beautiful. The price we paid for the Occasion ( Wedding Style Villa) was far too high for what we got. We expected something pretty special for what we paid, but were very disappointed, A 'tired' space, lacking many basic things, a Kettle, Side Tables around the Bed, Air Con just OK, and in need of some TLC . Just not good enough when you are paying that money. We left and stayed in UBUD at the Westin for less than 2/3rds of the price and got a 5 star Room over 100sqm.......Yes we know it's an small island resort, and things are a little 'simpler', but the price should reflect that.
